Mr. Chapman is one of the best vocal coaches that I have had the opportunity to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable and has an tone of experience teaching. I specifically focused on musical theater, and with all of the techniques Mr. Chapman taught me. I went into auditions a lot more confident, resulting in me booking the role that I auditioned for. I learned a lot about how the voice works, the different styles of music that shows off my voice best, and how to become a better performer. I definitely recommend Mr.Chapman if your looking for a great vocal coach.

Steve has taken me from having zero ability to having confidence in my singing. I have developed technical abilities while singing the songs that I enjoy and he has taught me to choose a key that is right for my voice. He keeps the environment fun and supportive while being kind with constructive criticism. I would definitely recommend learning with him.

I've been taking piano lessons from Steve for a year now. I played many years ago but, unlike a riding a bicycle, one forgets. I went back to the beginning and was so pleased to find that Steve intersperses theory, technique and even fun facts with the usual fingering, rhythm and tempo. I'm learning so much more than I did before. He's a stickler for getting each song just right, but does so gradually with lots of positive encouragement. I even bring my "special songs" to work on alongside the lesson book. I so look forward to each lesson!

Mr. Chapman is a great piano teacher. I was originally classically trained in piano but never really got into jazz, improvisation, and other styles of music after as much. Mr. Chapman has guided me through the various types of modern music, explained well the intricacies of jazz styles (i.e. bossa nova, jazz waltz, ballads), and gave me useful pointers on my improvisation since I just started now. He was also very willing to help in case something on the sheet music does not make sense. Overall, I feel like I have improved a lot in my piano playing and I was very happy to learn from him. This review was made by Gregory, Prith’s son.

I studied Piano privately for 10 years. I studied Voice privately for 10 years. I have years of experience as a Piano Teacher, Voice Teacher, Professional Pianist, Professional Singer, and Music Director.
