At first, this person appeared to be legitimate on her post. We had several phone conversations before reaching a verbal agreement for my daughter's sewing lessons. I told her that if it works out well, I hope that my girl take private lessons one hour a week. I trusted her because she stated she is a Mom of two & love working with kids. She stated she used to teach at JoAnn's Fabric as well. In addition, she stated that she just started her Mobile Sewing Business, therefore she an drive to the client's house with her machine. On the first appointment, she cancelled due to rain & flooding. It's definitely understandable, therefore, she agree to come on the following week. Next week, she did not show up. My daughter and I were so disappointed about this matter. Since she had been nice on the phone, I thought perhaps there was a misunderstanding. I called and left a message. There was no return phone call from her. The worse feeling is the feeling of "being duped." She should have acted professionally by calling back, and appologize that she changed her mind. I would have understood, and would have been able to forgive her. Mrs. Tourvile, take this advice: Treat others like how you would like to be treated.
