- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The cost of travel is dependent on many factors including the type of trip, the accomidations, travel dates etc. Most of my planning services are offered at no additional cost. I receive a commission from the vendor when my clients book with me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically start with a phone or email conversation to find out what my clients want from their vacation. We go over the wants and needs of each person. We would talk about what you may have already looked at and discuss what you already know about the area and what you still want to know. We work together to develop a realistic budget and expectations. Once I have a good idea of what you are looking for, I will take the next couple of days to put together a package that fits your needs. We then continue communicating until I put together the package that makes you happy. Once all is set then I collect payments on behalf of the vendor.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Think about what you have enjoyed in past trips and what types of things you want to avoid in the future. Be realistic and open with your budget. Have general travel dates in mind.
