- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took Tv Production in High School. I did the sound at my Church growing up. I was working Security at a Club and the DJ quit one night and I was asked to grab some CDs and just finish the night. I was blown away at how great the response was. Fast Forward a few years I was helping the DJ at the club and he let me play for him while he ran a contest. I was asked to fill in when he left until they could find someone else. I went to another club and became the Friday Night DJ. The Club closed and Bourbon Street Station opened. They hired a DJ and he moved to Atlanta. I had so much experience at this time I took over full time. I worked it and worked the weekends doing Promotions for the Radio station. I finally convinced the program Director to let me be On Air. I got so many request for people from the club asking me to do their wedding I bought my own equipment. After more than 10 years of events and great Parties I am doing what I love Full Time.
