Introduction: Songs of Life Music Therapy, LLC is a private practice of music therapy, music lessons, and adapted music lessons that strives to bring joy and improved quality of life to people of all ages through music.
The staff at Songs of Life are both music therapists and classically trained musicians, allowing them to teach a variety of musical styles (classical, jazz, pop, and more) and musical techniques (reading music, improvisation, songwriting, and music theory).
The mission of Songs of Life is to make music accessible to people of all ages and abilities. We utilize adapted notation and base our teaching style and content on the interests and preferences of our students.
About founder and board certified music therapist, Rachel Davis:
Since graduating with a degree in music therapy and performance certificate in bassoon performance from Appalachian State, Rachel has been providing music lessons and music therapy services in South Florida.
Rachel accepts students of all ages for instruction on guitar, piano, ukulele, banjo, bassoon, and voice. She is passionate about the positive effect music has on mental and physical health and loves to share her passion for learning new instruments.
