Introduction: Photos By Roosevelt offers big studio quality, with the small business attention to the clients' needs. I love to see big grins and tears when my clients see their photos. It blesses my spirit to know that I could capture moments in time for them.

Hired on Thumbtack

We hired Roosvelt to photograph our wedding reception. He was creative, professional, friendly, and punctually. The event was yesterday so we have not seen the edited photos yet. As a result I am not yet able to comment on his finished work. However, he seemed to photograph my guests in natural unposed frames, he completed group posed photos with attention to detail of positioning more than 30 people at a time, he was open to my suggestions for posing positions and environment, and even convinced a stranger to allow us to take some of our wedding photos on his yacht (which we cannot wait to see and show off). Overall we had an excellent experience & we can't wait to see the finished photos! I would recommend anyone to use his services....he was great!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically talk to the potential customer to find out what they've seen and like along the lines of photography. I explain my style, show examples, and then we discuss whether I can meet their expectations.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Over the past 5 years, I've worked closely with a veteran photographer with 20+ years in wedding and portrait photography who saw the potential in my work and took me under his wing to sharpen my skills. It was the best on-the-job training anyone could ask for.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look around. Check prices. View photographers' work. Then start your decision process. Talk to the photographers whose work you like. Your ultimate decision will be to hire the person behind the camera... not the pictures they've taken in the past.
