Introduction: My work stands out because I bring my southern roots and flavors with me, but infuse them into new vibrant dishes. I like to create layers of flavor without overcomplicating the dish. So when you taste a salad dressing you will get a hint of spice on the back end, but sweet on the front end. What I like most about my job is the ability to crate art on a plate and change someone's mood with it. It is instant gratification and you get instant feedback on how you can improve. Putting my heart into the dish and having a client say that it is amazing is amazing for me because the point for me is sharing my gifts and making others happy.

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a member of American Culinary Federation and take classes that they offer during the year. I also take classes when they come available from different associations that deal with the ACF.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I really always been in the kitchen because my grandmother baked cakes and kept me in the kitchen to help out. I learned to make gravy and pork chops at the age of 9 and I just really liked to fact that my food made people happy. Even while attending college for computer science I would cook for my friends on campus and after a while I just decided to make my passion my profession.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Dinner parties and small events, I like it because you can be creative and make it really special and intimate.
