- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Normally I go with the companies that pay best, but I am also very flexible with people that need a lot of treatments for pain. It all depends on the needs of the client as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Well I typically try to get the best intake I can, asking general questions about what are their general concerns, if they're physical, stress related, work related, lifestyle related. I listen for the information I can to create the most customizable treatment that will meet their needs. I also watch for what they like and dislike, that's very important at first, to know what type of touch they're accustomed to and how deep of pressure they can tolerate. It's a lot of active listening mostly and asking the right questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My most recent continuing education course was a rehab fitness specialist because I see the need in my clients to know when they need to strengthen their muscles to prevent future pain or eradicate current pain from muscle weakness. This is the latest class and I am working on developing those skills more as soon as I take my personal training test very soon.
