- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was an engineering major in school, one semester from graduation and went home for summer break to work as a substitute teacher working with a good friend of mine that invited me to try out teaching. I enjoyed working with students and talking to them as well as learning from them and what their needs were at the time. After heading back to school, I told my professor I wanted to teach because I found in that short period of time that I liked working with the students and teaching them math. Once I graduated the following year, I went back home to teach.
