Eileen G. says, "What should have been an easy remodel ... widening the entry into my closet turned out to be a challenge. And I was so glad that I selected George to do the job. He drove 1 1/4 hours to get to my home and was always here at 9. At 2 day job turned into a 3 day job and George had given me a fixed price quote and would have honored it but I felt that was not fair and paid him more. It was not his fault ... I purchased an IKEA closet that was supposed to 138 1/4 inches wide and the sliding doors were made to fit the opening but the tracks and trim were not. The were 158 inches and had to be cut with a hack saw as they were aluminum and the trim was aluminum and when cut it had rough edges. They should have been cut to measure by IKEA. After putting the trim up, we decided it needed to come down and George encased the closet in a door casing style molding but was a baseboard molding as it needed to be 3 1/2" inches wide. And the final job was absolutely beautiful."See more
