We love Ms. Karen, she is super sweet. Very flexible with our schedule. Our daughter loves learning from her and enjoyed her lessons- we plan to do family swimming lessons with her soon. Thanks Ms. Karen!
Martin is a great swim instructor. I am a beginning adult student, and in a short amount of time, he has helped me to improve my swim technique dramatically. He is patient and thorough in his explanations and has a great sense of humor regarding the challenges of swimming. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to improve their swimming skills, for themselves or their child.
Shea is a wonderful teacher! This was our first experience with swim lessons and my daughter learned above and beyond what I expected her to learn. Miss Shea is great with the kids, even when the kids are having a hard day in general, she gets them in the water and swimming! I highly recommend Miss Shea for swimming lessons!!!
Christina is a very nice and sincere swimming instructor. While teaching each stroke and move she also explains the technicality behind it which is something I have never seen with any other instructor. And the most important thing that she is very patient with my kid ! Thanks a lot Christina!
Our daughter has been attending classes here for a little over two weeks and we couldn't be more happy with her progress. When we started, she wouldn't even get her face wet. Now she says her favorite thing is swimming underwater! (At least until she gets in the water again!) But no matter how much she screams, Miss Shydonna always takes the time to teach her (and the other kids in the class) the next step and keeps gently nudging her along. This has been a really good experience.
I am loving it. However, was very disappointed that we made a verbal agreement to charge my account for only February and I would revisit whether to commit to March only to find out they debit my account for March without permission. The instructors I'm working with are amazing and I am so pleased and excited to learn how to swim at my age.
My experience and passion set me apart from other swim professionals. I have worked in many different aquatic environments and have taught lessons for more than 10 years and taught Health and Safety classes for over 5.
Called quickly and was able to get lessons started right away for a fair price
Hi! My name is Carolyne. I've swam for 15 years. I went to college on an athletic scholarship for synchronized swimming. I've been coaching swimming for about 8 years now. I've handled a variety of ages. I look forward to working with you!
I am very enthusiastic. I love to satisfy people and make them smile. I am a very good swimmer and could help you learn new ways of strokes!
I teach ages 4-12 in all swim levels. Each lesson is 1 hour. If you have a pool, I will travel to you. If you don't have one, we can arrange at a local community pool.
I am a swim instructor who is new to the Orlando area. My career began in high school where I taught lessons to all different people of all different ages and levels. Since then, I've been dedicated to teaching my students with water safety and the skill needed to become a great swimmer.

The Summer Olympics has rekindled my love for swimming and Simone Manuel especially has inspired me to help swimmers of all ages and stages. I swam competetively for 6 years including varsity in High School. I was a life guard for 4 years, taught swim lessons for 3 years and was a camp counselor at swim camp as well. Whether you (or your child or client) are just interested in learning the basics or if you are looking to become the next Michael Phelps or Simone Manuel, I'm here to help!
I performed professionally for over 10 years as part of a trio of a cappella-singing sisters, who also played light classical and celtic instrumental pieces on the harp, cello, violin, recorders, and bagpipes. We performed at many weddings, dinner parties, and shows, and were able to set moods ranging from comedic to reverent. So I have a lot of professional experience in figuring out what you need to do, to get pieces performable, and enjoyable for audiences, fast. My particular strength is showing beginning and intermediate musicians how to arrange the music they want to play, so that they can play it -now-, with their current instruments and at their current skill level. I feel that music is about communication, and that you don't have to wait until you are an "expert" to be able to make others happy with music.
I learned how to swim at the age of 7 from a lifeguard. I've had a pool in every place I lived. Ever since, I'm an experienced swimmer, and I can teach you how to swim.
I've been swimming all my life, so I would like to help others increase in their swimming as well as I've learned.
We offer both group and private lessons in Orlando, Florida. We recommend that you attend the lessons at our location. We also offer private, at your location or home lessons for families who would prefer a more private setting. Our lessons are based on teaching your children how to swim through games and through play. Group classes have a maximum of four students in each class. Classes are offered two or three days a week. Each class session is four weeks long. The students in Mommy, Daddy and Me classes start at six months old and are offered two and three days a week. Safety Technique 1, 2 and 3 is the next level and is open to children 24 months and older. Group stroke lessons are also available. A description of each class can be found on our website. Here is a little about Jillian: Lane 4 Swim School was established in 2005 by Jillian Martin. Jillian has been involved in the swimming world since 1991 and has been an instructor for the past 11 years. Locally, Jillian competed for Team Orlando and Trinity Aquatic Team (now Trinity Prep Aquatics). While attending school at Bishop Moore Catholic High School, she was a two-time Florida state champion in the breaststroke events. While attending the University of Maryland, College Park, she swam competitively for the varsity swim team from 1999 to 2003. Jillian was extremely successful during her college years. She earned, among many other achievements, NCAA Division Martin All-American Honors in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke, was an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) champion in the 200-yard breaststroke and 400-yard medley relay and earned All-ACC honors in nine events. She was fortunate to undertake community service projects with the University of Maryland varsity swim team to teach swimming to underprivileged children in College Park, Maryland. These projects helped Jillian realize how much she enjoyed sharing her love of water with children. During the last two years of her college career, Jillian was the head coach of the University of Maryland Terrapin Masters swim team. This team includes swimmers from ages 18 to 100 of various skill levels. Most of these team members were there for social reasons and to stay in shape, but others included those who competed at the United States Masters swimming and the United States Triathlon Association national levels. After college, Jillian continued competitive swimming with the Ft. Lauderdale swim team (currently named Ft. Lauderdale Aquatics), under the direction of Duffy Dillon and Jack Nelson. Jillian considers it a great privilege and honor to work with and learn from them both. Her competitive swimming career ended on a high note at the 2004 USA Olympic swimming trials in Long Beach, California. Currently, Jillian has focused all of her energy to building the best swimming program available to parents in the Central Florida area. This includes accepting a coaching position as head coach for Bishop Moore Catholic High School men's and women's swimming and diving in 1998. She continues to enjoy sharing her knowledge and experience with the young athletes and parents, while building another top high school aquatics program in Central Florida. Even though she has finished competitive swimming, the competitor in Jillian is still alive and kicking. In her free time, she has enjoyed turning her attention to cycling and triathlons. Jillian shares her love of the water with you!
If you are interested in providing your young child with every advantage to keep them safe in or near the water, I can help your child develop confidence in the water through Infant Swimming Resource's self-rescue program.
