Introduction: From recreational to elite and everything in between, Studio 6 is the place to be! We take pride in our ability to accommodate the student who wants to dance for pure enjoyment, while offering more than ample encouragement and instruction for those that intend to pursue a professional career in dance. There are no other dance studios in the area that can boast a true "New England style" dance education like Studio 6 can. It is our mission to provide our community a fun place to learn the art of dance, and to build a reputation of providing quality dance education by way of our highly trained, caring, enthusiastic and determined staff. Nicole Almeida, Executive Director of Studio 6 Academy of Dance, originally from North Haven, Connecticut, brings 20 years of dance training and experience to the area. Inspired by her New England "dance family" and long-time mentors, Nicole made the decision to open Studio 6 in historic downtown Lake Wales in 2012. Nicole believes that dance enables young people to acquire discipline, poise, social skills, and self-confidence. She intends to promote an atmosphere that will allow students to mature as dancers, foster friendships, and develop into positive members of the community. We are offering classes in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, acro, hip-hop, Zumba, Pilates, yoga, boot camp, and much more! We provide a fun, friendly and safe environment for students ages 3 and up.
