Never thought I would become a fan of a computer repair and maintenance company. But this company is unbelievable. Geoff actually wrote out some simple steps I could follow to self-remedy what I thought (from googling and reading the suggestions on a number of websites for "fixes") was a problem that was well beyond my competence to tackle. As a result, I had given up any hope of being able to access and use any of my Word files -- which are my lifeblood -- anytime soon. But the simple steps Geoff spelled out for me had me up and running in less than 10 minutes.! How could all these other websites -- with their complex fixes and scenarios -- be so wrong? This one company has taught me that it actually is possible to discover a company that looks out for the customer's best interests, first, and not simply its own profits. And yet it has the competence and professionalism to do so in a responsive and comprehensive manner. As I say, unbelievable. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Prices for support vary depending on the type of issue and skill set required to address it. As an example, flat rates would be lower on Virus Removal or Printer Repairs than they would be for Data Recovery or Server Installs. Rates will also vary by the city or state you receive services from. Support rates in New York or California will often be much higher than other states where cost of living expenses are far lower. We are based in Florida and operate with very little overhead. This enables us to provide lower flat rates across the board. Hidden fees? Never!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?New and old alike, we want every customer to know we are a trustworthy company that has their best interests in mind at all times. Do new customers even read these questions and answers? Are you doing your homework before you actually hire someone online? Mention homework complete and we’ll take ten percent off the quote. The majority of our clients are repeat customers and many of those have been doing business with us for well over a decade.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have essentially been in the computer business my entire adult life. I started working on PCs back in the DOS days long before Microsoft Windows even existed. These were the days when computer parts were actually repaired rather than replaced like they are today. My first computer was a Timex Sinclair which I still own to this day. Education and Certifications are never ending as technology changes from one minute to the next. I hold current certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA to name a few and have extensive training in both Data Security and Data Recovery.
