I do not recommend 1800 Got Junk in Central Florida location. We set an appointment on a Friday and my husbands phone had issues so we did not get the call. We called back explaining the situation and was told by Wayne that they could not get out that same day due to an employee having a medical issue they were down a truck. We totally understood that life happens and told Wayne we would reschedule the following day.We rescheduled via there website right away for a 9-11am slot on Saturday. At 11:02a we had received no call and ended up calling customer service who informed us that the driver that day was informed “the job was taken care of or resolved yesterday.” We told customer service that was false information and relayed the above.” We were told the driver would contact us.” Driver John called up about 10 minutes later and said he was going to head over after he finished at the landfill and brought up cost and how that worked. I told him what were were told and he indicated what the normal cost would be. We said “no problem.” He called about 20 minutes later saying he was 20 minutes away and would call once he was close to obtain our gate code. He called about 20-25 minutes later and acted like we provided the incorrect address. We scheduled the appointment online not via telephone. Really?? I do not recommend this company to anyone. Very poor customer service skills. Save yourself the time and hassle.

    Since we price based on how much space your junk takes up in our truck, it’s much easier to provide an estimate in person. Our crew will arrive onsite to take a look at your junk and provide an exact price.

    Customers can book an appointment with us either online or by calling us at 1-800-GOT-JUNK. We'll come to your location at the appointment time and take a look at what you want to get rid of. Then we’ll give you a price estimate and let you choose to proceed. Once you’ve agreed to the price, we’ll get to work! We do all the heavy lifting—you won’t have to lift a finger. We’ll even sweep up after we’re done!

    1-800-GOT-JUNK? began in 1989, when college student Brian Scudamore encountered a tight summer job market in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada. After seeing an old, junk-hauling truck rumbling along a McDonald’s drive-thru, he was inspired to start his own business. What began as a means to pay for college quickly turned into a unique business - a franchise of professional junk removal. Brian eventually changed the company name to 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, invested in more trucks, hired great people, and set a goal to build a brand that would become a household name. Since 1998, the company has grown to approximately 200 locations across three countries.
