Malvin was very professional, responsive and open to any questions we had on performing some work ourselves. His price was very reasonable and the turn around time from estimate to the job was within 4 days. This was extremely helpful during a kitchen remodel we needed to complete to get other contractors in. He replaced the breaker panel, disconnect box and installed outlets for microwave and range. I would recommend to everyone! I have worked with many contractors over the last 20 plus years and he by far is one of the best. Thank you!
Markanthony is very professional and his work is of the highest quality. I called him when my contractor walked out midway through my renovations. He has worked with me to prioritize the work and my home is feeling more like home every. I would definitely rehire and recommend.
Jay made time to fit my busy schedule. Once he got there he was extremely nice and professional. He was quick and offered some excellent suggestions. I thought he charged a fair price and has a great personality. For low voltage work I would recommend him to anyone.
Guys came out to hang a ceiling fan in 2 story living room. They brought out scaffolding, put down pads underneath and were very courteous and professional. They completed the job on time and even cleaned up after themselves (sadly something many contractors forget nowadays)
My house needed some WiFi amplifiers due to the fact that the router is on the ground floor, the walls are thick, and WiFi was limited. He arrived promptly, assessed the trouble areas, and started the install. Very pleasant and courteous. After he left a few hours later, (WiFi was working great up to this point) it dropped. It only took us to realize to disconnect and reset the amplifiers installed in the electrical sockets to get the signal to "reboot." We were unaware of that, and it has happened periodically, but that's not a major concern, more an advisory issue.
Hired Rob the Brit to move a cable jack across my living room to an outside wall. Process / communication with Rob to discuss / schedule job was excellent. Appreciate that Rob was able to respond evenings after my work. The technician Sol arrived on time and was ready with tools etc. Job was a more complicated than we originally planned because of wall that I wanted to move jack to and the cable was a low voltage type. Sol was tenacious to figure out the best way to get my final result that i wanted and stayed extra hours than planned and got the job done ! Even vacuumed up. Rob honored the original pricing we agreed upon, excellent. I will hire again in a heart beat. I feel Rob the Brit is a reputable local business. I may have ceiling speakers / sonos system and outside landscape lighting.
John is willing to take the time and look at the job...was a small job, just hang a couple ceiling fans but one was at 21' and I talked with several electrical contractors that would not give me time of day when I told them the height. Thanks John for taking the tough job
Contacted Dennis to get together to discuss options for upcoming new home build at model home. Dennis spent 3 house with me going over AV options, placements, systems as well as security systems. Had an additional meeting with Dennis and the builders low voltage wiring contractor at the model home. Dennis provided invaluable assistance with wiring type and placement for my new home. All this time and expertise was provided prior to even breaking ground on new house. Dennis will continue to work with me, following finished home build, to complete the selected AV and security system install and instruction.
Jerry was fantastic! He did multiple jobs for me over a period of about 10 days! From painting to electrical, tile work framing and installed wood flooring on the ceiling of my kitchen sofet! Every job was done impeccably! Done in a timely manner, I would definately hire Jerry again for any handyman job I may have in the future!
As a new homeowner to a 1925's craftsman cottage in Historic St Pete, I had more than a few items to "tune" up. One of which was a garage that had been badly deteriorated by termites and neglect. I was not ready to tear it down but wanted to see if it could be salvaged. I met with several contractors - most of which didn't want to take it on. Ray accepted the challenge! He was very detailed with his proposal so that I understood my costs and kept me in the loop as the project was under way. I think it ended up being quite a bit more than he had expected, but he held to his quoted price and we worked through additional requirements as they came up outside of the initial scope. He was timely, and his workmanship is excellent. The only thing I would have done differently would have been to arrange for a dumpster, but did not expect the amount of debris to be as great as it was, and spent extra $$ on clean-up. Thanks Ray - will use you again!
A recent Home purchase and the old Electrical power line had to be moved due to issues with Teco energy and a new one installed days after closing .Jason and his partner promptly to care of the problem.
Overall great result. The original contract was to wall mount a 55" curved TV. The owner JDE owner arrived with his assistant on-time. My wife and I were delighted with the job and quality that we expanded our project to include a JDE handmade entertainment cabinet to match our furniture. We followed this with the installation of wood shelving in a walk-in closet. We have added two more projects. My evaluation criteria fall into three categories. Craftsman and Competent and: understand the job requirements, own the appropriate tools, and adjust plans to specific site conditions. Reliable and Responsive: arrive at the time arranged, complete the job in the specified time, or return within a day to complete if conditions warrant. Receive prompt responses to messages (email, text, phone call). Price and Product: Price must reflect the job — a low bid means corners inferior work. Too high means the contractor either doesn't want the job or plans on a one time, no return customer. The end product must meet the original specifications or better. In my experience, JDE earns A+ in all categories. The proof of my confidence is the rehiring for additional work. I have no hesitation recommending JDE Installations.
I hired Anthony to install security cameras, speaker system, network wiring, and wifi connections throughout a commercial building we own and we were getting ready to move into. The first thing that impressed me about Anthony is that he shows dedication and diligence in his work and has a pleasant demeanor that makes working with him a pleasure. The second thing is that he gives you a complete detail about what he is going to do and what he is going to charge which I think is lacking today with other contractors. The third thing is that I was very impressed with Anthony’s patience and professionalism in how he handled any changes or tweaks we threw at him. Anthony was very fair and upfront when there was something I asked him to do that was above and beyond the scope of the work we had agreed upon. The prices he charged were fair and reasonable. What I’ve found with other contractors is that they will come in at a low price to do the job but as soon as you make a slight change to the job they charge a huge upcharge. Anthony is not like this, even if he does charge you, he gave away some things, he is extremely reasonable. He is not looking to gauge you. Fifth thing is that Anthony is not afraid to drive well over an hour to a project if he feels that his services are needed. I know that Anthony was driving at least 1.5 hours one way (3 hours round trip) and he was willing to do so without complaining. This project took a total of about 10 days in all. He was more than willing to stay late to push the job along, if necessary. Complaining is not in Anthony’s vocabulary. There were many challenges throughout the project and Anthony handled them very well. He is committed to make sure that his Job is done right. Specifically, we had a very complex issue with our VOIP phone system and even though that was not directly part of the scope of the work we had contracted him to do, he went above and beyond in order to diagnose the problem and worked with our network technician and phone installation company to help resolve the issue. If Anthony had not spent the additional time, late into the evening, to fix the issue, it would have been a nightmare not having phones up and running the following day. In addition I have hired many contractors over the last 20 years and Anthony has most definitely been one of the best! David A.
Sam did a great job. Extremely happy with the work and clean up. Would recommend for any low voltage cabling needs
Greg was excellent to work with. I had a unique situation as I am building a house 5 hours from where I live. I met Greg at the house and walked through a model home and explained what I wanted to do and he had some excellent suggestions and it was obvious that knew what he was doing. He had a small window where he needed to run low voltage cables in my new house, and got it done without me ever being there. Sent me pictures and kept me up to date the whole time. The job was even cheaper then the original quote. HIGHLY recommend Greg!
James did an absolutely wonderful job on my home today. I had multiple drywall projects that needed to be done so that I could move forward on my home. James started early, worked hard, and completed some drywall areas that we didn't even discuss but that "bothered him" because they weren't done correctly. Wow! We have orange peel texture on our walls and after the repairs were made James did an excellent job matching the patched walls to the surrounding areas. To my surprise and delight, he took the last part of this day to vacuum the floors and pick up some of the debris that wasn't even from his work today. James is not my first drywall person I've hired, but based on today, he's certainly the best to date. Thank you James!
I would highly recommend Phoenix Electrical & Mechanical Contractors! They installed a whole house generator for my dad. When the gas company flaked, Phoenix Electrical stepped in when they didn’t have to and solved the problem. They are professional, honest, they clean up after themselves, and the quality of work they provide is superior to anything I have seen lately.
Had Greg rough in new electrical to my shed and patio circuit. He did a great job and stayed with late until we got it done. I recommend him for electrical work you are needing done. He said he also does low voltage, phone, data and security systems which is Benificial for a one stop shop for anyone needing multiple trades done.
