FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The basic cost to solemnize a marriage is $20, this is set by Florida law. Additional fees are dependent on travel, attendance at rehearsal, and length and complexity of the ceremony. On average, a wedding within 30 miles of my location ranges from $50-$150. Again, this depends on the factors mentioned earlier. For those who find these rates too expensive because of their financial situation, please contact me anyway, as I believe strongly that everyone deserves a wedding they will have pleasant memories of for a lifetime. We can always work something out regardless of your budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Staying well informed through reading, observation, and continuing education classes is important to me so that I can continue to provide the best service possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I began as a minister I was focused on ministering to the homeless, and grew a small motorcycle ministry that also served the needy in our area. Friends and acquaintances, began asking me to officiate their weddings. I found that participating was so heartwarming and soulfully rewarding, That I decided to devote some of my time to being a wedding minister.
