I was looking for self defense training in order to learn how to protect myself. I found Onyx Fitness Training and it was one of the best decisions that I have made! They went over basic jiu jitsu and striking style techniques and I noticed that my core is a lot stronger! They were very nice and welcoming. I really enjoy training here! They also have a full gym for weight training as well! I am more excited than ever because not only am I learning self defense, but I am seeing drastic changes towards my body as well! Apart from being very fun, sweet and upbeat Anna is showing me a whole new approach to fitness the one that most trainers and athletes will keep a secret. It seems that most trainers never want to show there clients what they actually do, instead take a slow and ordinary exercises to keep clients longer and without dramatic changes. I could tell Anna apart from those trainers right away! I have had prior trainers and never achieved what I wanted nor was ever excited to exercise. With Anna it will be a fun as well as amazing journey to finally reach my goals. Very well equipped, clean and private studio is a wonderful safe naighborhood and very easy to find. Riccardo trained me for almost two months while I was vacationing in Florida . He was AMAZING!!!!!! He was very easy to get along with and I felt comfortable with him from our first meeting ! A few months ago I decided to focus on my health and fitness. I looked into fitness training and after meeting with 3 trainers I decided to go with Frank Latella. His knowledge how to help each individual client is amazing . I started seeing results in others and then I noticed how my body took an awesome appearance. My energy level is thru the roof! I am very pleased with my work outs with Frank . I am almost to my goal and I couldn't have done it without Frank Latella showing me the way. Great experience! Raz prepares focuses workouts, including cardio and strength training from head to toe. After a year and a half I've achieved a good physical shape. He also remindes me of the importance of taking care of my mind and my nutrition. It has been a pleasant experience that I intend to continue throughout my life.

I have worked out 4 days a week with James for 5 years, he very knowligble in physical training and nutrition. I deal with a shoulder issue and he has been able to work around it and push me in every workout session. He keeps my workout challenging, and interesting, I’m 56 years old and I’m good condion thank you James.

I absolutely loved my first trial session with Kaizen Training! First of all we organized it within a few days and thankfully he could accommodate his time I could train. We discussed my goals and put together training plan that tested my abilities! During the session he was very attentive to my strengths and weaknesses and I felt very comfortable throughout the class.
I have initiated a fitness program more than 2 years ago because Kannel showed me the benefits of strength training. I am a certified Health & Nutrition Coach who was allergic to gyms. I truly believed that if I went training I would transform in the woman Hulk. 2 years later when she finally got her certification I could not pass the opportunity to be trained by this passionate and dedicated fitness woman. Kannel possess the unique ability to make you work in your routine and finish it. It is as if you are climbing Mount Everest, and when you are done training you surprisingly find yourself at the top. Until 6 years ago, I never stepped foot in a gym except to watch a basketball game. My only form of exercise was walking around the neighborhood or on a treadmill. In 2010, I was diagnosed with an illness and had lost 30 pounds but not in a good way. Shortly thereafter my wife, also a client of Tedy's, recommended or should i say demanded that i start working out with Tedy at her gym, who she has been training with for some 10 years. At first, it started with her training me at my house because of the illness, but eventually i made my way to her gym, Raw Energy Fitness. Recently, her daughter Stela has done most of my training and I am equally pleased. They are both extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of physical training, emotional and mental included. Now, rather than just walking I work my upper and lower body along with doing cardio. Both girls know my capabilities and limitations very well and still managed to help me take control over the illness, get stronger, and improve my test results year after year. For the longest time, this illness held me back while a constantly developed colds, and sicknesses. I truly believe that through my training at the gym I have greatly improved my physical and mental health, and of course my strength. My energy and stamina are better than ever. There is a great benefit belonging to a smaller gym that has developed its own personal touch from the people that create it. Today, after more than 6 years, and at my ripe age of 68 I am much stronger in both mind and body thanks to Tedy and Stela. Forever grateful, Neil.
