It has been a true pleasure working with Vicki Zajac, owner of Zajac Interiors, as our interior designer. We needed assistance in redecorating our living room, dining room, patio and kitchen, and Vicki was a tremendous help to us. She recommended highly skilled craftsmen to assist us in remolding endeavors and found the perfect furniture and accessories for our home. She took the time to learn about our specific taste and needs for our home allowing her to quickly incorporate her professional experience and practiced eye to what would work for us. She was open to our suggestions and would follow our lead if we showed an interest in a particular look or theme. We especially appreciated that she kept our budget in mind at all times and was happy to pass on any professional discounts she received to make our purchases more affordable. She would often try to help us find new ways to use old items in an effort to recycle as well as keep treasured articles still in use. Vicki is a highly qualified designer, professional and thoughtful in her approach to her clients. I am very grateful for all the help she has given us to make our house more of a home to us, and we look forward to a continued relationship with her. Our home is coming together beautifully thanks to Vicki Zajac of Zajac Interiors.

So far everything has gone great! We are building a house so with the property not being completed she has been extremely patient as things start to come together! Listens to what we are looking to accomplish and offers suggestions that can also save us money along the way! I highly recommend

Vicki Zajac was professional, always on time and would answer my questions either through email or FaceTime. I was so thankful to have her on my team. I love her sense of style and helping me to understand what I liked. She also helped me with color themes and little extras, like my garbage disposal button by the faucet and soap dispenser and it didn't even cost a lot! She even met me at the granite yard and picked out a few slabs before I even got there so I wouldn't be overwhelmed by so many choices and price ranges. I had given her an idea of the cost I wanted to spend and she made sure I didn't look at anything above what I wanted to spend!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I am happy to send a list of my design packages. And, I encourage prospective clients to set up a time to talk via the phone, facetime, skype, or to come to my office so we can go over their project and so they can ask questions. It's important to see if we are a match and if I am able to help.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Before a client hires me we have discussed my fees, how I work, how I charge, and what they are receiving. I try to be as transparent as possible. Once I start to work with a client I will start with an initial visit to see the space(s) that we are going to work on in person. I want to measure it, take pictures, and of course, talk to the client to see what they are hoping for as the final result. After that, I might do a furniture plan, or make initial selections for furniture, paint color, etc. We go from there. The client and I meet again, to review what has been done, what they like, and what needs to be done next to keep the processes moving towards completion.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My first degree I received is in Economics and Business Administration. I worked many years in that field. I specialized in streamlining processes and customer service to some very large telecommunication companies. I like efficiency and I bring this to all of my work and processes in interior design. I had the opportunity to go back to school and I got a degree in interior design. I did many internships in different companies, residential, commercial, hospitality, and so on. When I started my own company in 2009, I did that so I could be the face to the client and give outstanding customer service as well and amazing design.
