- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please Use a Certified Florida State Contractor. Licensed & Insured. "...60 percent of the unlicensed contractors have extensive criminal pasts." Why would people even let these guys into their homes? To save a buck? You found them on Craigslist? Because they are the "friend of a friend" or the "brother of someone at work"? Use your head. That's just plain crazy. Unlicensed contractors cost Florida residents millions of dollars every year. They're just a bunch of crooks who want to take as much of your money as they can get. Then they're gone when the expensive problems show up You're lucky if they dont steal things or rob you. These people are dangerous. Demand to see the license number in writing and then check the license at the State of Florida's FREE website: http://www.myfloridalicence.com Remember to carefully check references too.
