FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most companies charge by the room. They advertise a stellar price for a 3 room special. A true carpet cleaning professional will charge by the square foot of carpet actually being cleaned. Cleaning chemical is based by the square foot, so to track inventory and chemical usage we charge by the square foot of carpet actually being cleaned. For examples, in a 10 x 10 bedroom with furniture the actual area to be cleaned may only be 21 square feet, not 100 square feet. By charging by the actual square feet to be cleaned you are saving money and I can ensure proper chemical usage. The price per square foot of carpet cleaning varies on the service you request. We customize our services to meet your individual needs, but offer three different packages: The Silver Clean is 20 cents per square foot and includes: Pre-vacuum with professional grade vacuum Apply pre-spray using professional cleaning solution Apply professional grade cleaning solution Thoroughly clean carpet Remove most spots Brush or Rake Carpet Pile Grooming Carpets dry in 1-2 hours Ideal for a carpet that is deep-down clean The Gold Clean is 35 cents per square foot and includes: The Silver Clean plus Professional Strength Protector which restores factory stain resistant treatment. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have IICRC certifications and take continuing education courses through IICRC and Carpet and Rug Institute.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had worked in the carpet industry for other companies in Michigan for many years. I enjoyed exceeding my customers expectations and developing lasting relationships with them. My family decided it was time for us to open our own company and develop lasting relationships with our own customers in our new community. So we moved to sunny Florida and settled in the Tampa Bay Area where we are enjoying meeting many new people and exceeding their expectations.
