FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, my hourly portrait session rate is $285. I offer discounts to sessions with multiple hours or sessions booked. For 1st time clients I require a 50% non-refundable booking fee. Contracts are sent via PayPal. My fee includes my time, the session, travel, editing and approximately 30 digital images. My editing is very simple, this means tone, exposure, shadow, and color to align with my style. If you are wanting additional items “photoshopped” please ask about my photoshop pricing and let’s review what your expectations are. Please note; what you see in the mirror is what you’ll see in photos. If you select a session in the street, you’ll see street signs, trash cans, light poles, etc. If you have any concerns during your session, please speak up. These are your images and I want you to love them! :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to meet or call potential clients. It's very important to me that I understand a clients expectations so that I can exceed them :-). Once a client has booked, I provide guides for the session and help plan locations/times and even outfits if needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took several film photography courses years ago that established my foundation. The transition to digital was slow and I love it. I am currently enrolled in The Wedding [photography] School and I am attending Rollins College for my business management degree.
