FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every event is different, however, customers should look into what is the "National Average" for the the cost for entertainment / DJ Services for their type of event before they establish their budget range. Remember you get what you pay for. Just one of my speakers is $600. I usually charge the price of one speaker just in case something happens to my equipment I would be able to fix it. Even with insurance there is a deductible and the deductible is $500.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will answer some of your questions through Thumbtack messaging or over the phone. Once you decide to reserve me I will schedule a short consultation with you to explain my planning strategy for your event and send you a contract to sign. I will schedule a full consultation with you to finalize details for your event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 17 years experience as a DJ for USO events when I served in the military; when I returned from deployment I began to do over 50+ events a year (many of them weddings). I became head DJ for my branch in Washington D.C./Virginia/Maryland. I also became Head DJ for the dinner cruise ships in D.C. Spirit of Washington. I also disc jockeyed every week for the kids at a local ice rink for the Washington Capitals. I work Full Time as Professional Disc Jockey. I have a degree in Graphic Design and in Audio and Lighting Desgin so I create a unique look and feel that suits your event's style and theme.
