Best DJ!!! Diffenitly knows how to make people get on the dance floor. Very flexible with our music request. I highly recommend him as a DJ!

It was 3 years ago when my wife Diana and I got married at the Hyatt Dulles, and until this day all of our friends and family still talks about how fun our wedding was, of course DJ Jason had a lot to do with that. In fact we got to experience similar results again last year, that's because my cousin and his wife decided to use him as well that's how good the DJ Jason is. I've been to numerous weddings, and I can honestly say that I've never seen anyone do it the way he had the crowd involve and dancing the whole night. I mean from the beginning of our reception he was on it, the energy he brougth to the crowd as the wedding party was introduced, from cuttting the cake, and all the way until the last song that dance floor was never empty or I should say was alwasy packed. I do not want to ruin the tricks he has under his sleeves, but I'll at least warn the grooms to be that you better have your "A" game on when your reception starts. I'll cut this short because I can seriously write a book about our wedding experience with DJ Jason, but if you ask my wife and I (and now my cousin and his wife too) if we would recommend him the answer will be, YES 100 out of 100 times!

Jason Quinn is the very best DJ in the Washington DC Metro area! He was the Master of Ceremony for my daughter's wedding on June 7, 2014. He ran the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. He is an incredibly personable man who brought everyone to the party and celebrated our daughter and her husband like they were his lifelong best friends. Everyone was up and dancing through the very last dance and he has some amazing equipment! Book early!

We hired Jason Quinn to DJ our wedding reception (which lasted 5 hours) and we are SO glad we did! Jason was absolutely fantastic and made our reception even better than we hoped it would be! He is a true professional – very entertaining and extremely thorough. His extensive experience really showed by the way he took charge of everything and led us through a reception that flowed beautifully. We didn’t have to worry about when to stop one thing and move onto the next because Jason took care of all that and he did so in a very energetic and charismatic way. Jason took our music requests and complimented them with other songs that were just perfect for what we like and for our guests. He got everyone dancing and made sure everyone had an amazing time. He was so easy to work with because he has such a fun personality. It is clear that Jason has a true passion for what he does and it is very important to him that your event is the best it can be and that you are more than happy with it. We truly were and we highly recommend Jason! He is the absolute best! - Steph & Joe - Annandale, VA

Jason is an amazing DJ. I hired him to DJ our youth ice hockey annual family picnic where he had to entertain 500 families with players ranging in age from 3-18. Not an easy task to say the least. He was engaging and got my distracted audience into the fun of the day. He also came up with his own games to help us celebrate the day. I got rave reviews from everyone. And when he couldn't make it the following year, he found me a replacement. Jason more than delivers!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Every event is different, however, customers should look into what is the "National Average" for the the cost for entertainment / DJ Services for their type of event before they establish their budget range. Remember you get what you pay for. Just one of my speakers is $600. I usually charge the price of one speaker just in case something happens to my equipment I would be able to fix it. Even with insurance there is a deductible and the deductible is $500.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will answer some of your questions through Thumbtack messaging or over the phone. Once you decide to reserve me I will schedule a short consultation with you to explain my planning strategy for your event and send you a contract to sign. I will schedule a full consultation with you to finalize details for your event.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 17 years experience as a DJ for USO events when I served in the military; when I returned from deployment I began to do over 50+ events a year (many of them weddings). I became head DJ for my branch in Washington D.C./Virginia/Maryland. I also became Head DJ for the dinner cruise ships in D.C. Spirit of Washington. I also disc jockeyed every week for the kids at a local ice rink for the Washington Capitals. I work Full Time as Professional Disc Jockey. I have a degree in Graphic Design and in Audio and Lighting Desgin so I create a unique look and feel that suits your event's style and theme.
