Introduction: I am Nationally Board Certified in Massage Therapy and Bodywork. A Reiki Master since 1996 I have also studied under the Rosemary Gladstar School of Herbology, the Jeanne Rose School of Aromatherapy and have completed extensive training in Energy Medicine. Additionally, I have completed over 400 hours of advanced training in specific massage modalities targeted at chronic pain. Helping people to feel better and educating them on ways to help them take care of themselves on a day in and day out basis

My husband and I own our own business, it is very physically challenging. We have also been in a couple of car accidents that has caused soft tissue injury. In the past, chiropractic treatment would help for a couple of days, but our work would always put us back in pain. On our first visit to Denise, she asked questions to determine what type of treatment would benefit us most. Over the next six weeks, Denise performed cranial release treatment on both of us. She was very attentive to how we were handling the sessions and made certain we were comfortable. It almost felt like she was having a conversation with my muscles that my brain wasn't necessarily aware of. We now see her every 3 to 5 weeks for maintenance. My husbands spine stays aligned even after grueling weeks. Where I used to take motrin 2 or three times a day for weeks on end, my headaches are now minimal and my motrin intake is down to once every 2 or three weeks. Our chiropractic visits are now for severe injury only. I feel like she really cares about me and may be more upset than I am about how badly I have to treat my muscles and spine for my work. The only thing she could do better is to let me fall asleep on the table when she's done.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do 25 hours a year of advanced continuing education. This is twice what is required for my licensure renewal. I believe that the better educated I am the more helpful I can be to my clients
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was very ill with stress related illnesses that impacted my ability to work in the corporate world. I knew the issue was stress so I closed my company and worked on getting healthy. After I reversed the illnesses I committed myself to helping other take back their health.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I help to eliminate and reduce pain whether it is coming from back issues, migraine headaches, hip or leg problems.
