Well, it's 10:15 p.m. on my dog's first night back, and I must say this is the first day I have enjoyed with her in a very long time. My dog, Bacardi, was out of control. She jumped, destroyed everything, pulled horribly on the leash, and quite frankly, I was losing my mind anytime she was around me. I called Steve about four weeks ago, and he promised him and his team could help me. I laughed, because I really didn't think she could be helped. However, the dog that is laying under my computer desk now is better than I could have ever imagined! Ilana, one of the trainers, specifically worked with my dog and me. She was great. I was very nervous sending my dog off, but she responded quickly to my text messages (which I sent almost every other day), and she kept me informed about everything! She was not only a trainer, but became a hero to our little family! She made it possible for us to live in a quite, settled home again. My favorite thing about Ilana is she never disgraced my dog. Rather, she praised Bacardi for being amazing. From the moment she arrived at my house, she talked about how good, sweet, loving, and smart she was. This reassured me she was in good hands! I truly don't have enough words to thank Steve and Ilana! All I can say is, WOW! If you think your dog can't be helped, they will prove you wrong. It may be expensive, but in reality, it is worth every dime! Their hard work and dedication that is put into every dog is priceless. THANK YOU GUYS!!

Steve is a professional, he was very matter of fact and he really took the time to go over everything with us. During our first meeting he also helped us resolve a skin condition problem that our Golden retriever Bowie had. We ultimately picked the boarding training program... Outside of the fact that we really missed Bowie, I only wish we had done this sooner. They did an amazing job! Bowie ended up working with a young trainer named " Ilana " she was so sweet, patient and tenacious with our very strong will boy... Bowie was away for three weeks, he was then brought back to our home in Hollywood, he was a changed dog! Ilana proceed to transfer Bowie to us, teaching us what to do. She was very thorough with us and most importantly patient. She really went beyond the call of duties. We liked her so much, that we elected to hire her and Tropical back to train our two other dogs. This time we will do the home program since our other dogs are not as challenging as Bowie was. our starting date is April 4, 2015. They were prompt and truly a very professional team. The results speak for themself since we are hiring them back. The only negative has nothing to do with Tropical, during Bowie's boarding we went to see him and it was very difficult for me. After our visit by no fault of theirs I could not stop crying. They made him perform in front of us and we then had to leave him there after our visit. Looking back our visiting him made us feel better as we saw he was thriving and was in good health, which meant they really took good care of him. My husband and myself would recommend Tropical anytime. Steve Cohen and Ilana were wonderful. Sincere thanks guys! Steve & Caroline Williams
