Introduction: Hi, I'm Karina! I was born in Ukraine, grew up in Poland and moved to US almost 20 years ago. While I'm proud of my heritage, I also feel very grateful to be able to call America my home.
My passion for photography started very long time ago. When I was still a kid, I remember collecting Anne Geddes postcards and dreaming of creating something similar one day.. My dream came true and eventually I did! And while newborn sessions hold very special place in my heart, eventually I moved on to shooting lots of weddings, and couples in general. I really enjoy photographing couples and capturing that special connection between them.
My photography is not your usual "look at the camera" kind of picture. I pose in a way that helps bring out emotions. That's what photography is all about, to me.
During all my photoshoots my goal is to build a deep enough connection with you to make the most out of our session. When you see your photos, I want them to reflect who you are. Just know that I will do my best to make you feel comfortable and that it will be fun!
When I'm not working I'm spending most of my time with my one year old daughter, Maya. Days are filled with playgrounds, walks, the beach, but most importantly lots of love and laughter!
