Kitchen Remodel

Curtis came to see and my condo for kitchen and bathroom renovations. I received five offers from different contractors and chose CDW because he quoted faster, details and the lowest among other four, rushed me to pay a half of quote by 4 pm on 9/3 to give me $500 discount of white shaker cabinets to order and submit city permit because of taking a few weeks. I mentioned my project was time sensitive and expected to be done by 9/30 to live. He had neat apps called Buildertrend to see documents and progress of my project. However nothing got updated after Labor Day weekend was over on Tuesday 9/8, then texted him what status permit and order on Wed 9/9 and he said his staff submitted it to city yesterday. I requested to show me proof of email submission to the city and he came back with email was submitted at 5:10 pm on Wed 9/9 after I checked status and complained he would not communicate with clients after hours like 9 pm. Next day 9/10, I requested what kind he ordered to show me proof purchase order to see when cabinets were coming by 5 pm before regular business hours so we don’t have to talk about business after hours. He only updated what kind to show. He said bulk order takes 3-5 weeks to warehouse to pick up. Still didn’t give me when he ordered or anything to track. I texted at 6 pm where was email and he said he didn’t want me to see where he gets cabinets from and didn’t want me to contact them. I said why didn’t he send me po cross out contact information and highlight my part. he texted back to complain he didn’t work like this and nice clients to spend more money didn’t ask things like I did and gave him keys to work with trust. If I didn’t like the way he worked he would cancel the contract. I got so stressed from last week and was shaking when I saw his text message. I said fine I would cancel it and requested money back. I had never had any bad experiences since I used this site for many years to repair and remodel my home.
