I hired Yuni to complete the design of my condo in Brickell. She was amazing. Great eye for style and design. Made the whole process painless and she found me amazing furniture at a good price. Highly recommend!!!

I reached out to yuni, not as as client but as a rookie in the field looking to get some insight from professionals in the area for a side project I am working on with my landlord. Not only was she extremely punctual but also so thorough with her advice and did it as a good deed. While this is more of a passion project than a means as a source of income, If this job turns out to be lucrative I will definitely be sending this little gem a thank you gift :) I haven’t seen her work but from the way she gathered her thoughts and delivered so concisely with detailed examples makes me believe that Yuni knows what she’s doing. She seems honest and hard working as well as ethical. I don’t know her aesthetic but hope to have a chance to see it some day first hand. Thanks Yuni! The community needs more good natured people like you :)

I would not recommend Yuni to anyone! After we discussed everything, I signed the contract and paid her to design a few spaces. She disappeared for a while without a trace after we paid her. She then requested I pay extra to accessorize and also changed the terms of the original contract. I would reach out to her several times and I wouldn’t hear from her again to finalize. I regretted sending all that money upfront like that. She then waited 2 days before staging to reply and said it was too last minute and that she would use the things she had. She didn’t purchase anything new with the money I gave her to accessorize. After several months, she never finished the work. The spaces were somewhat empty with old items she had from previously which I’ve returned back to her. Nothing flowed and the rooms are incomplete . She still owes me money from items I returned to her that she used to stage the rooms. She also will go on social media and bash her clients and say they’re on a budget when in reality she took our money, didn’t deliver and screwed us over with low quality service! Yuni also staged a reaction video with myself and my 5yr old daughter who’s a minor and posted it on social media without our consent, bashing me. She told us to “be in shock and show how surprised you are, for the video”! Please, do yourself a favor and find a real professional interior designer. Save yourself the headache and drama. Find someone who is accredited and credible! Yuni will take your money, disappear, lie and then leave you high and dry. In the end we lost a lot of money and now we’re back to square one, after months of waiting and wasting time! There are good interior designers out there but please do your research and don’t focus on the good reviews, most of them are family and friends. I started doing some more research on Yuni and I was horrified at what I found! Make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into or you’ll end up sorry like us. 😞

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for design and staging vary depending on the amount of rooms that need to be styled and the total time spent on the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually schedule a phone call to find out more about the project and if it is a fit for us. Then we set a day and time for an in-home 90 min. consultation which allows me to see the space live and make my notes about layout, decor, colors, style etc. From there I prepare an estimate for the project and send it to the client within 24hrs. of my first visit. After the client approves the estimate I start sourcing the elements, furniture and accessories for the design (or staging) and prepare a mood-board with pictures which is sent to the client for visualization and final approval on the concept.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my BA in Interior Design from the Berlin International University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany. I worked in Interior Design for 4 yrs. while in Germany until I decided to come live permanently to the United States. Once in USA I came to Miami and went to 1 yr. to University of Miami for an Interior Design Certificate and 4 more yrs. to Miami International University for BA in Fine Arts with a minor in Interior Design.
