FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have an interesting story. You can read it on my website.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most Clients come to me when they have finally decided they are ready to change and have the place they have always dreamed of. Sometimes it's one room and others, a complete whole house change. I suggest things that they themselves would not think of to execute themselves. Wallpaper, Speciality finishes etc. I want them to feel excited about their new environment!!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say the best advice is for the customer to have an idea of which direction they are headed in. Even if that direction will change. I like to spend a little time socially with my client to see how they really live. Be honest about what you really like and don't like. If you eat your dinner on the couch every night in front of the TV then own it! No judgements here, just the ability to design a place that best suits the needs of the client Don't be afraid to suggest ideas that you may think are way out there. Sometimes something you think is a bit too much might be the thought of the designer. Communication is essential to creating a perfect project the client will enjoy for a very long time.
