- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your homework. Research the companies offering you quotes. Are they licensed and insured? What is their rating with the BBB? What is their reputation on social media? Get everything in writing.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
When a company does not guarantee its price, there is no incentive for the moving company to gather a comprehensive inventory, or the correct weight of items, and its adjusted price is often much higher than its original quote. We dont think of moves as a one-time transaction. For us, each represents an ongoing relationship. In fact, the majority are clients we have worked with before, or are personal referrals.
