Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: When I was a kid, my sisters took me to see "A Song to Remember", a movie about the life of Frederic Chopin. It was on this occasion that I first heard piano music of such depth and passion. It was like being struck by lightening. I have never really recovered ever since, being propelled on to learn how to make such music myself and then to share that skill with others. I especially enjoy working with young and older adults and I believe that the lessons should be fun, yet solid. They can include sight-reading both solo and four hands, technique enhancement, basic music theory, improvisation and repertoire development.

I've had an amazing experience so far with Diana. It can be very challenging to find the right direction for someone that is new at piano. However, Diana is slowly showing me and helping me accomplish that!!!

Diana came to me “out of the blue” and the timing was perfect……I had not touched my piano in three years; my favorite piano teacher had moved away, and somehow I thought he could never be replaced, and seemingly, just gave up! (I might as well mention here that I am a woman “of a certain age”….. well ok, I’ll admit to being somewhere over 50!) I had my first lesson with Diana almost exactly a year ago and although embarrassed at my rustiness, she quickly put me at ease and made things comfortable by bringing out some nice, easy teacher/student duets. Soon we were laughing together on the bench and I was actually having fun. I don’t remember ever having FUN during piano lessons ! Diana has honed her considerable skills sharply over her teaching career, and you will know that from your first meeting. She is truly excited about teaching and I have learned more in this one year with her than four with my previous beloved teacher and - hardly do they count – but the 2 others before him and one after. It seems like I knew nothing but how to read, and during this year she has given me many lovely pieces to vary my practice and at the same time, increase my reading skills. I didn’t know a thing about theory and honestly, was not even vaguely interested in knowing a thing! That’s all changed. Diana can inspire even the most stubborn of us to want to know more – to play more – and best of all, for me - to actually have fun while we’re practicing, with her or without her. I cannot say enough about how happy I am to be one of her students and I am recommending her for any age, at any stage! She will bring out the best in you. Linda D. on October 15, 2015

I have studied with Diana Molinari for many years, and can honestly say that she has been one of the most impactful teachers I have had in my life. She took me from knowing nothing about music, to being able to sit at the piano and enjoy reading music from all the masters on my own. You will not regret studying with her. She is well qualified, patient, understanding, and most importantly a true teacher at heart.

She is so wonderful! She made herself available to answer questions concerning our lessons at odd hours. We shared music and fun. I am continuing with her no matter what.
