FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'd spent many years working in the corporate world, and while it provided an excellent living and education, I felt there was something missing in my day-to-day life. I wanted to wake up and feel excited and passionate about the day ahead. I'd been shooting photography for many years, but was naturally apprehensive about taking such a great leap of faith. It was a naturally rocky road to tread, but with the support of my friends and loved ones, I made the jump...and I'm so glad I did. I feel this quote sums up how I feel about my career change: ÂDonÂt ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive. -Howard Thurman
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I photograph weddings, families, newborns, and high-school seniors. I am organized, yet easy-to-work with, and I enjoy people of all types. I look forward to working with you!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That it is an art - as well as a science, and you get what you pay for. There’s more to wedding photography than just photos: troubleshooting less than ideal lighting situations, customer service, artistic eye, etc. Choose someone you enjoy working with as well as enjoy their images
