When I wrote, produced, directed, and acted in my first play, it was very important to me that I'd have a professional visual archive. Because of challenging stage lighting, I had my concerns. Lynne calmed my fears with with a package of photos that lived up to my standards and made me proud to display. She captured all the right moments and I'm able to re-live my production through her pictures. It's a no-brainer to recommend Lynne for your photography job.

I am an actor, so my headshots are especially important. Lynne really knows how to capture a person's essence in a photograph. I was SO pleased with how all of mine came out, and I keep getting positive feedback on them from casting directors and other artists. My family was very pleased with Lynne Kaplan's portrait photography. She has an excellent eye, chose a wonderful setting, put all family members at ease with her pleasant personality, and captured a wonderful family portrait. She even did a portrait of our family dog, which was not an easy subject! She is punctual, professional and competitively priced. Would highly recommend her.

My eye is always roving for my next shot, so I have a special place in my heart for street photography. I'm one of the directors for the Miami Street Photography Festival, an international celebration of photographers who capture candid and captivating moments in the everyday experience of strangers. They document society. The festival takes place during Art Basel, and featured among its diverse schedule is a juried photo exhibit representing work from all over the world, in addition to workshops and presentations by internationally acclaimed master and Magnum photographers. In 2012, our first year, Harper's Bazaar dubbed us as one of Art Basel's Top Ten events.
