I was looking for someone close by that would be willing to teach Spanish lessons in a face-to-face setting. Jeannette provides me with Spanish lessons 3 times a week at my house. She is punctual and organized. Jeannette will assign homework if you want and is helpful at clarifying any questions you may have. I have recommended Jeanette to several people I know personally and would recommend her to anyone here on this site. I know she also does lessons online if you're so inclined.

Professor Iveth Pavon helped me prepare to take the CLEP exam and test out of Spanish class at my University. I had some prior knowledge in Spanish but she was a huge help and clarified things such as the forms of past tense, future tense and present tense. She also helped me increase my vocabulary amongst other things. Excellent professor for high and low level Spanish lessons, I highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn the language or increase what they already know. I know I certainly did. Also I passed the CLEP :) I don't think I would have without her lessons.

Georgette is a great teacher. She is nice and cares for her students. Very enthusiastic and understanding. She is very approachable which makes the class much more enjoyable. My native language is Portuguese, and I am having English and Spanish classes with her, and since I started I have improved my languages skills.

I have been taking Spanish lessons with Jose for three plus months. He's very well prepared, patient, and punctual. He's skilled at incorporating your interests into the lessons and remembering the vocabulary and grammar skills you have when he's speaking with you. Definitely recommend!

I met Carolina during the course of 1 week for individual Spanish lessons. We worked on my Spanish foundation and practiced speaking. I am very happy with her teaching technics, enthusiasm, and the way she explained everything to me. If I had more time, I would certainly continue working with Carolina.

For two years now I have been learning Spanish with Carolina Tabrizi and I can attest that she is a superb teacher. My progress has been phenomenal to the point that I can easily converse on all sort of subjects - except philosophy and math !!! Her method is boredom proof. She has a vast culture and experience and can neatly weave interesting subjects into the conversation part of the class. She even makes grammar fun ! The homework she rightly insists on is always a bit challenging, just enough to keep one interested and eager to learn more. Carolina's personality is engaging. She is calm, attentive, she has a sense of humor. She is very encouraging and genuinely cheers at her student's progress. It is a privilege to be Carolina's student and I hope she will agree to teach me until I am proficient enough to easily talk in Spanish about philosophy and math ! Francoise R Wellington, FL

About

Spanish classes No matter what your particular needs from learning Spanish are, our general "one-on-one" Spanish courses in Miami will help you immensely. The practical needs of the student are always the course's priority. Once the basic elements have been studied, the direction of the course depends on what will be useful for the student. This is ideal for those studying for an examination in Spanish as well as for people heading abroad for a variety of reasons -- travelling, meeting people of other cultures, and doing business overseas! Our general "one-on-one courses" cover student-specific subjects, allowing the user to communicate proficiently in Spanish speaking nations. English Classes The English language is used broadly around the world in many fields. It is a powerful tool of communication that is used by more than a billion people on the planet. It is an official language in more than 50 countries, and it is spoken extensively in countries where it has no official status. It is also one of the official languages of some of the world’s international organizations, such as the United Nations, the Commonwealth of Nations and the European Union. The English language plays a major part in the political, economic and cultural life of many countries, making it important for many people for various purposes either for work, education, travel or for leisure. English language learning is one of the trends nowadays, and it is even offered in the English language schools, in countries and cities where English is primarily spoken. Of course, learning a language is best done in a places where it is spoken because you will be exposed to a natural speaking environment, and you will be able to practice what you have learned inside the school, in more practical situations. Though there are a lot of Spanish speakers in Miami, you can still find a good chance to practice your English as it is an important destination in the U.S.
