Definitely would hire Anthony with IPA over and over again. So accommodating to my ever-changing needs and schedule, he answers every text within minutes, shows up when he says he will, does amazing work far below the industrys average cost, the list goes on.

I would be very leary of hiring his contractor. Anthony Vilchaez the owner of IPA construction visited my home and the project in person 2 different times before submitting me a bid to reface existing kitchen cabinets and installing granite countertops. I accepted his bid on 8/24/17 and I thought we agreed upon a start date to begin the project 9/4/17. Then hurricane Irma hit on 9/9 and 9/10 and i fully understand the delay in starting the project. My issue with IPA Construction and Anthony is that after the hurricane passed., I have left in excess of 20 voicemails to both office and cell., and an equal number of emails and texts and have not received one call back or email or text reply from him. Not even a courtesy call to let me know he was too busy at this time, no longer interested in the job, or was out of business because of the hurricane. I even asked him if the problem was the bid he submitted was a problem and he wanted the opportunity to review or rebid?? No reply. Not even a call to let me know to shop for another contractor. This is a very poor way to do business. I would not recommend this contractor for any work based upon how I was treated and the total lack of professional courtesy to at the very least return calls or emails. I have no idea of the quality of their work, and it may be very good., but this is no way to treat a customer who accepted his bid and thought I hired the right pro.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I try to give my customers the lowest price possible.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to meet and go over the project onsite for a free consultation.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've built houses with my dad in my late teens then moved on to working with paint subcontractors. I then started my own remodeling business in Michigan. I relocated to Florida in 2005 and was a Project Manager overseeing subcontractors on over 70 houses a year.
