Sarah was a fantastic yoga instructor. She met me for 2 private lessons while I was visiting Naples. She was thorough, informative, patient, and totally invested in making the lessons the best experience possible for me.
I attend Andreaâs yoga classes at the Gateway Golf & Country Club in Ft. Myers, FL. She is always on time and when we walk into the room, she greets us with her beautiful smile. There are many things that impress me about her; how she makes everyone feel comfortable right at the start of the class, greeting new people, always explaining at the beginning to not feel embarrassed if you canât hold the pose as well as your neighbor â not everyone is the same, yoga should not hurt. She interacts with everyone during class by walking around making adjustments if necessary, and showing options if someone is struggling. I could go on and on but these are just a few that stand out. At the end of the class, Andrea reads a poem that always has a calming message for us to take with us. Andrea is such a gem and the âGateway Girlsâ just love her.
Yoga practice was altered for my personal need by very knowledgeable, caring yoga teacher. With given Yoga lessons, feeling great not just physically ( strengthened muscles , no more back pain! Got back self confidence too!) emotionally and spiritually, the best experience in my long searched path to nourish my soul and evolve spiritually.
Joanna was one of my Teachers during my 200 Hour Teacher Training in India. Not only did she inspire the way I teach Yoga, but also how I approach my own Yoga practice. Confidence and Headstands are all just fine, but for me the healing aspect of Yoga, both physically (I struggled with an old Hernia-injury) and spiritually, were sparked through Joanna's wisdom. I know I would jump at any chance to practice Yoga with the woman that can teach you more about using a block, a strap or bolster than you can dream of.
Jasmine is an amazing yoga instructor!! She has a thorough foundation of a variety of yoga practices and tailors each class to accommodate individual needs. She shares her knowledge of yoga and related topics/techniques/breathing with all of her students. I always leave her classes feeling powerful yet relaxed! Thank you Jasmine for what you do!
Janell was my first yoga teacher when I started going to Rise Power and honestly the reason I decided to become a constant yogi at Rise. My Monday and Wednesdays were always my favorite evenings because Janell was teaching, she made class challenging yet relaxing (and always had a wonderful taste in music!). I think the most important thing about Janell is that she really manages to establish friendship, I would want to arrive early to chat with Janell before class. I had a wonderful two years as Janell's student in which my practice grew so much. I have nothing but positive things to say and to thank Janell for all the happy vibrations she has filled me with by teaching me how to flow not only on my matt but in life. I hope our paths (and matts) will cross again at some point.
Melinda has a way to make people of all levels feel comfortable and confident during their practice. In each class she uses helpful cues to help me get the most out of my practice. Then when she brings in her beautiful crystal bowls.....well, simply said she has a gift.
