I have been singing since I was 7 years old, but it wasn't until now that I am 21 years old that I decided to receive lessons. I have already discovered so much about my voice working with Roxy with just a few lessons! I am more excited than ever to be singing, not to mention that she is kind and very encouraging, definitely recommend!

Right away Susan was open to what I was looking for in a music lesson and what I was looking for in a teacher. She not only has wonderful techniques to show you in order to open up your voice but she has a wonderful personality and is willing to work with you in a positive way. She has encouraged me to work hard and has been very helpful in finding the music that appeals to me and my taste. I couldn't be happier with Susan as my teacher and I would recommend her to anyone that wants to improve their singing abilities.

I started taking guitar lessons with Dr. T about two months ago. In this short period of time, I have been able to learn the fundamentals. Dr. T will teach you the proper technique, will be patient with you, and will modify lessons to fit your progress. I count that as a blessing because while I can pick up some stuff quite fast other stuff takes me longer. The Lessons are about 45 minutes; but if his and your schedule permit, he is willing to put extra time at no charge to make sure you are able to make progress consistently. One of the things that impressed me was that even on the first lesson we jumped right into it with no delays. He was very courteous and friendly, but at the same time very conscientious of your time since he understands that you want to get the most value for the price you're paying. Overall, Dr. T is a very good instructor. I had zero experience with the guitar before, and with his help I have noticed improvement already. The last thing I would have to say is that to learn to play the guitar you have to put the time, practice, be patient and committed and you will succeed.

I had always wanted to take voice lessons but due to the expense, it was something I had never pursued. It was only when I was cast in a community theatre musical production for a character outside of my vocal range that I decided to pursue the opportunity. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to study with Joe. He is very passionate about his craft. He is knowledgeable and efficient. His method of teaching is extremely comprehensive and with each lesson, I learned more and more. Over the course of our few weeks together, I expanded my vocal range and gained the confidence I needed to perform perfectly. My voice was noticeably stronger- not only to me, but to my family and my musical theater peers. He worked hard to accommodate my schedule and never hesitated to put in additional time. Recently, I was cast as a lead in another community theatre musical production. While my voice is pretty, I am confident that my ability to secure this role was because I had spent time working with Joe. I will continue to work with him throughout my community theatre endeavors and would recommend him to anyone seeking to improve their vocal range and/or skills. He truly is a wonderful teacher and this review does not do him justice.

My 9 year old daughter had never picked up a guitar before taking lessons with Brenden. She's doing great and is falling in love with it already. I'm so impressed that he's not just teaching her how to play the notes but everything from good posture to proper positioning to reading music. Brenden is personable, patient and professional (alliteration not intended). I would recommend him to anyone wanted to learn from scratch or hone your craft. He's a great teacher.

Rob does a great job making my bass lessons fun and engaging, and is great at matching the material to the individual student. I really like that he writes things down for you to reference later and answers questions well. He's definitely taken the intimidation out of learning an instrument. Overall, he's very professional and is a teacher I'd recommend to anyone.

I just had a quick question to ask Allyson about a specific piece I was working on. I could immediately tell that she knows her stuff. She was able to clearly answer my question, while also demonstrating her explanation on the piano. Whether looking for a quick answer or searching for ways to pursue formal lessons, I would certainly consider starting with Allyson.

Kiarah is an incredibly talented pianist and piano instructor!! She doesn't just teach you how to play piano...she teaches you how to make music!! She makes sure her students not only learn how to read music, but also makes sure they learn technique and proper form when playing in order to avoid hand and wrist injuries. She also holds recitals each year which are unlike any others I've attended. Her students are taught how to perform professionally in front of an audience. Both of my boys absolutely love lessons with her. I've used several teachers in the past and nobody compares to her!

Tim is an excellent teacher and role model. I didn't feel very motivated about my guitar playing until Tim showed me how to practice correctly and get fast results. Tim's tracking method via his website is amazing! I would recommend Happy Fingers Guitar Lessons without hesitation :)

I met Jackie as a fellow cast member in a local musical show. Her experience and enthusiasm overwhelmed me! I taught piano lessons for a number of years and studied piano and voice in college, but I needed some "quick" expertise to help me with my songs in the musical. Jacki was just what I needed; reminders of how to sing properly and expert advice on how to do my best as a member of the chorus in a musical production. I have enjoyed every lesson with her and each time I spend time with her, I learn something new and am reminded of why I love music so much!! She is more then a teacher, she is a mentor and a friend!

Rafael is like a grandfather to me. He allows me to call him if I have any questions and introduced me to a lot of new cellists to listen to. Rafael has been very understanding of my schedule as a full-time student and we meet at the most convenient time for me. His books and lessons always brighten my day and I always learn something new. He believes in his students and their talent, I couldn't ask for a better teacher.

I am extremely satisfied with Mr. Croft's Music Studio. He is a very effective teacher that takes his time emphasizing the piano learning steps to my 6 years old son. He has the patience that my child needs to progress in music reading. His teaching methods are well structured but he adjusts to the different students levels. I highly recommend him, best piano teacher in town.

I worked with Bonnie in preparation for my undergraduate degree. She was excellent in working with me and helping me to prepare scales and etudes as a clarinetists. Additionally, she was excellent in preparing me for the piano skills I would need as a Music Major. Even more than technique and scales, I felt she worked closely with me to always make as much music as possible in each exercise, etude, solo work, or chamber music piece. Furthermore, I also recommend her because she is a wonderful, thoughtful, and kind person. --Dr. Jessica Lindsey, Assistant Professor of Clarinet at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Taylor is a great guy who is good at teaching the piano. I rarely feel frustrated when working with him, as his patience is infectious. He is also very flexible on scheduling. Within the first month, I have already learned how to read notes, play several shorter songs, and overall feel much more comfortable when sitting at the piano.

Working with Gayle has been a wonderful experience. I came to her for voice lessons, but overtime I realized that I am gaining so much more. She is highly skilled and makes me feel so comfortable. Gayle has not only helped me with the technical aspect of singing, but she understands that singing is more of an emotional experience. She has helped me break through a lot of self limitations, free of judgement. I value our lessons and look forward to them each week. Thank you Gayle for helping me tap into a part of myself that I've dreamed of for so long.

I began learning to play the cello with Gonca about ten years ago while in high school. She started me off learning the Suzuki method. She provided ample feedback and experienced advice on the nuances of performing during my learning, which is difficult to find in other experienced performers. Whenever I reached an impasse in my practices she would provide me with alternative studies to break through those difficulties. She strives to teach more than just the ability to play, but to cultivate the maturity to become a superb performer. Though it has been a few years since I moved away and had the pleasure to study under Gonca Huff, I am always thinking back to her instruction on every new musical challenge.
