About this pro
On 6/19/2014 we entered a contract for $1,100 dollar worth of work on my yard including tree work. I paid him a $300 deposit and another $80 for plants and he never showed up. I tracked him down and he explained he had spent the money and didn't have the money to do the job. I foolishly paid him the balance with his promise of finishing the next day and he never came back and won't return my messages. Beware of Kastanis.Jul 30, 2014
We had a tree come down after a bad storm. Everyone I called was busy and I was really worried because I have young grandchildren that play in the yard. I actually ran into the owner at 7-11 and saw the sign on his truck. He told me he was doing a job but would come by later. When I told him the problem he followed me home right then and there and not only removed the tree from my property but sawed the branches off the one next to it that was hanging and about to go thru the screen room. He didnt charge me extra for the "emergency" call and was very kind and professional. You dont often meet people that care about your problem and that are not just out to make money. I recommend these people on ANY basis - not just emergencies. He is scheduled to come back and do more work next month. Very grateful in New Port Richey FLJun 28, 2010

- How did you get started doing this type of work?An old friend of mine was kind enough to introduce me to the trade. He taught me everything I needed to know about lowering limbs and shaping hedges, palm trees etc. I also took interest while working with his arborist to know what every Florida palm needs to be shaped like and what cuts create healthier trees rather then destroying potential oaks.
- What types of customers have you worked with? Most common jobs are palm and oak tree trimming along with landscaping. We do perform many tree removals with replacements.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?On our website, you can see a very large tree was removed from a historical antique home. The tree was over three stories high and was dead to the bottom core. It was enormous! You have to see it to believe it! Very proud of that job!
