Viva Expressions did a FANTASTIC job for our company holiday party. We had 150 guests, they were all happy with the photos and services provided. The props were fantastic as well as the photographers. We will absolutely use Viva at our next corporate event!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Questions and Answers Before you hire a wedding photographer, you need to know if their style of taking pictures works with what you envision for your wedding. Here are some important questions to ask any wedding photographer: Client.-What's your primary style? Posed and formal, relaxed, photojournalistic, creative, artistic, candid, traditional? Jorge. As a wedding photographer, I cannot say I have a unique style. A wedding photographer must mix photojournalism photography, traditional portraiture for formals, and also artistic photography that is created in post-production. Client -Do you shoot in color or black and white? Do you shoot in a digital format that can create both color and B&W versions of the same picture? Jorge. I shoot all the time in a format called RAW. Electronic files can be converted to black and white, sephia, BW & color. Also, we can add some filters in post-production . Client -What kind of input can we have on the direction of the shoots? Can we give you a shooting list to work from? Jorge. As a professional photographer, I can lead you about the pictures you may have as well as a list of wedding photographs. You also can provide a list of the pictures you want. Client -Are you the wedding photographer who will actually take our pictures? If not, can we meet the person who will be? Jorge. Yes, I am the wedding photographer. Client-Can we meet any assistants who will also be present during our photography session? Jorge - Yes, you can meet Amparo, she is my assistant and wife. We work together and she helps not only me but the bride, groom, and the whole wedding party. Client -How many times have you worked specifically as a wedding photographer? How many were similar to the size and formality of our wedding? Jorge - I have shot dozens of weddings in different sizes, from very private to big ones with more than 400 guests. Client -How many other events do you photograph per day? Jorge - I shoot just one event per day. Client -What kind of equipment will you bring with you? How intrusive lighting, tripods, and other equipment will be? Jorge - I handle only Nikon Cameras and lenses: Nikon D3s, Nikon D700 and Nikon D200; lens Nikon 17-55MM f/2.8, Nikon 70-200MM f/2.8, Nikon 24-70MM F/2.8, Nikon 50MM f/1.4; Nikon 18-55MM f/3.5, Nikon 55-200 f/3.5; Flash Nikon B-900 and Flash Nikon B-910. I use two cameras on me most of the time and I do not use tripods, strobes or lights at your wedding, unless it is too dark in which case we have a video light. When the customer request photo-journalistic style, we are imperceptible. Client -Do you process your own pictures? Customer- Yes. All pictures are processed and retouched in photoshop. Client.-Can we buy digital pictures from you? Jorge - Yes, you can buy digital pictures on-line through your private gallery, by email or by telephone. If you have additional questions to Jorge, please do not hesitate to contact him
