Most jobs can be done fairly fast and work is done on a digital copy, the original is never touched. When you can take an old photograph or a damaged photo and restore it to a much better condition before it is lost forever is very gratifying.

What types of customers have you worked with?
Repairing old black and white photos. Also shooting photos of artist paintings with a high resolution camera so that perfect art prints can be made on various papers in any size.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I scanned a group of 35mm slides, many of which appeared to have mold and other stains on them. I was able to take the digital copy and clean the stains on most of the slides. Some were not repairable but I was able to save a lot of the images which would have been totally ruined in another year or so.
