Can't wait to use their services again! Gretchen stopped by a couple days before hand to meet our cats and see how everything was laid out. While we were gone, she texted pictures and gave updates. To top it off, she left a notebook where she docunented each day what she did with them, how they were behaving, etc. We're looking forward to the next time we go away because we know Gretchen will take care of the boys with the same love and attention we would give them! Thanks Gretchen!
Cliff has the perfect demeanor for being a dog training specialist....both calm and assertive (with pets and their owners haha). When we first met Cliff in 2009 we had a newly adopted 8 week old puppy with a lot of negative puppy behaviors. So many skittish, destructive and biting behaviors though that we were advised by two other trainers and a couple of family members to "give her back" to the pound and that she would be a potentially dangerous family dog to keep around and "unpredictable" around young children. Cliff provided puppy training to us over the course of several months and helped shape Maya into a more mellow young dog that year. After we had our son, Cliff returned to help make sure the transition went smoothly, that our dog Maya would know her place and be safe around the new baby, including practicing walking Maya next to the stroller and wagon and anything that could potentially make Maya react negatively. Cliff was fantastic and Maya has been an awesome family dog these past 7 years. Great on long car trips, mellow and tolerant of kid grabs on ears and tails, never growls or snaps when our 6 year old son or other small children would jump around her or touch her treats or food. We are so grateful that Cliff saved her from the pound round 1. Then after moving away to the D.C. area, and visiting our parents back in South Florida, Maya had a negative experience at a dog boarding facility in Palm Beach Gardens. She had been attacked (unprovoked at her last stay at a Dog boarding facility in Virginia requiring stitches, etc.) and we didn't realize that she had probably also been traumatized by this event and her next experience at a dog daycare might not be as enjoyable for her. She got into an altercation with another dog and one of the daycare handlers and was kicked out of the facility never allowed to return. I was told by the trainer there that it is "sad when a good dog goes bad". I was devastated!! Cliff came to the rescue again. He offered to immediately pick her up from me and board her for a few days while I visited with my parents and to train her while boarding and see if he could correct some of those nervous and potentially aggressive behaviors. He helped her work through some of those issues and took her into the community interacting with other people and dogs and she returned to us quite happy and like herself again. We are so grateful to have found Cliff 7 1/2 years ago and because of him we have the best, most gentle family dog we could imagine. SO glad he saw the potential in Maya and helped us through those negative behaviors!!
Melissa takes create care of our dog, Stanley. We have left him for one day at a time and we have left him with her for two weeks while we were on vacation. Stanley loves Melissa and get's so excited when he is on his way to her house. Sometimes it is hard to get him to come home!
I am so impressed with the "Doggie Daycare" offered by Anna and Stephanie that I've committed to a regular weekly schedule. Bella is so happy with all the attention and the home atmosphere. Being that she is a small Chihuahua we've tried other facilities but Bella gets overwhelmed and scared with even the sight of real big dogs. Here there are no big dogs, just doggies like her.
Having had some bad experiences with Pet Sitters in the past, I am really happy that I found Nicole to take care of my dog, Sheba. First of all, Nicole takes in just two or three dogs at a time, so I can be sure that Sheba gets the attention she deserves. Second, Nicole doesnât just watch Sheba, she interacts with Sheba, so Sheba gets some training and affection when Iâm not there. Also, Nicoleâs dog Luna has becomes Shebaâs BFF. They can play for hours! I really appreciate the fact that Nicole sends me pictures of Sheba when she is there, so I know everything is all right. Finally, the only crate in the house is Lunaâs, so I know that Sheba wonât be put in a crate and forgotten as soon as I leave. I do not crate Sheba, and thatâs fine with Nicole. Leaving your dog with someone else can be very stressful, but I am very comfortable leaving Sheba with Nicole.

Amazing service!! I was out of state and my sitter didn't show up. With a puppy in a crate an hour from potty time, I went into complete panic! I found 5 Paw Pets and they were willing to come right away. Their Pet Taxi service was booked, so rather than call me and tell me they couldn't come, the owner came herself! Not only did she come immediately, I offered to pay extra mileage as she was 30+ minutes away, but she didn't charge me. I instantly felt comfortable with her and knew she had the dog's best interest at hear. And I hadn't even met her yet! They took excellent care of my dogs and I will definitely use them in the future!
I have been using Linda as my pet sitter for a few years now. My dogs love her and she is great with my dogs. I trust her completely with my four legged children. She is also very conscious of the mix of dogs and personalities which I appreciate. I would absolutely recommend her!
Lisa was a wonderful employee at Rover Come Over Doggy Daycare. She always put the needs of the dogs first before anything else. She made figuring out what each individual dog liked and needed her priority. She always paid strict attention to dogs in her care, took her job very seriously and was so loving and caring at the same time. When she was outside of work, at home, she was still thinking of ways to interact and help the dogs and she would bring her good ideas to work with her each day. She will be missed at Rover Come Over and any dog is lucky to be in her presence.
