FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Right now, I primarily do headshots. While I really enjoy headshots, I am proficient at other types of photography as well. I also excel at creating art out of mundane objects. A service that I offer but don't really advertise is to create an artistic piece out of something that is personal to you.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you are photographing people, the eyes are the most important features. If the eyes are not razor sharp, then the photo isn't good (at least for headshots). So, look at their work and make sure that the eyes reach out and grab you. If they got the eyes right, the rest of the photo falls into place. Also, a headshot should look natural. The idea is for the viewer to be able to get a feel for the subject just by looking at their picture. If the skin looks artificial or if the look/pose/expression looks forced, then the photographer has not successfully captured the essence of that person.
