Introduction: I am a reading and writing tutor. My background is Speech and Language. I have been tutoring for the past 4 years. I establish a connection with my students by finding out what interests them and then building some lessons around their interests as well as doing traditional lessons from leveled reading workbooks and literature. I understand the difficulty students have with reading comprehension; I am a slow learner myself and had to find ways to compensate for my learning disability.
