I've known Daniel for about 6 years, now. I worked with him on a project for 2 years, and to date, he is still the best drummer that I have ever worked with, by far. He is technically proficient, has an excellent work ethic, and is very professional behind the kit. He has a great teaching method, as well, for those of you interested in drum lessons.

Hi there Trey I wanted to drop you a few lines to thank you for mentoring me on the drum kit. Despite me being a “green drummer” you took me in and never made me feel like I was a bother. You have taught me, in a systematic way, the foundations of drumming (i.e. counting time) with emphasis on hand control/speed, rudiments, introductions and fills. I was having a difficult time with learning how to read music and within one lesson you helped me learn how to interpret sheet music. Your hands-on approach for teaching drumming was key for me considering I had only been on the kit for two months. Furthermore, your in depth knowledge of the drumming world and your suggested practice material (i.e. Tommy Igoe Groove Essentials) between lessons have helped me tremendously; especially with learning how rudiments are tied together to form grooves. You keep up the good work and I can’t thank you enough for teaching me. Regards, Dr. Rick Ulrich

I have hired Mark to accompany me for gigs as well as recommend him to my peers when they need a drummer or percussionist. He is wonderfully professional as he listens to the material before hand and attends rehearsals well prepared. He has been on time to every performance and has a great stage presence especially in regards to interacting with the audience. I have also personally taken some djembe lessons from him and would recommend him as a really inspiring mentor and teacher for all ages and experience levels. -Ashley Dudukovich (Chasing Jonah)

Over the last year, Mr. Raffetto has given me lessons in piano and drums. I have been a professional musician for a few years, but my skill set has grown exponentially under Mr. Raffetto's guidance. He is an excellent jazz pianist, percussionist and performer, and plays various other instruments with great proficiency. More importantly, he stresses that he is constantly a student of music and is, therefore, constantly learning. I'd recommend him to students of any age and experience. He is the most passionate musician and instructor you'll find.

Just had my first drum lesson with John, what a great instructor! He is full of humor and patience, everything you would want when learning a new instrument. We covered a lot, got a book to use during my practices, and has a wealth of information. Very excited to start learning the drums.

Kisha is a talented musician and excellent teacher. Kisha gave in house drum lessons to my son for three years while he was in high school. Her instruction helped my son to excel in his music classes. Kisha was always punctual, courteous and definitely trust worthy. I would recommend her to anyone needing an excellent music teacher.

Mr James has been teaching Drum Set techniques and Mallet Percussion to our son for the past four years. Steven just began his freshman year at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He won a scholarship which is a blessing to us. Mr. James is a wonderful, motivational teacher. He really knows how to teach.

Tim has taught both of my sons for years now. They knew nothing about music when they met Tim and just after a few lessons they were playing songs on the piano. Now that they're older they are taking guitar and drum lesson. The boys look forward to lesson days because they love learning and jamming with Tim. He is great and incredible talented. I hightly recommend him.

    About

I have been playing drums for a little over 10 years now. Like many, I was bitten by the music bug at an early age. After several years of professional and private music instruction, I began playing with local music groups and bands in high school. At age 17, I moved from my hometown of Baltimore, Maryland to the great city of Orlando, Florida. I have been in Florida nearly 3 years, and in that time I have built up a significant clientele for drum lessons. I currently teach over 20 students in the Orlando area, and my intention is to keep that number growing! I currently teach at 2 locations: Spark Family Enrichment Center in Winter Springs, and I also am a certified teacher for a website. You can find more information about these two companies in the Links & Media tab above. My passion for music and my love for teaching allow me to patiently and accurately instruct students of all skill levels. I take pride in teaching, and it never fails to humble me when someone trusts me to make them a better musician. I take my lessons very seriously, and consider being a drum teacher to be more than just a job. Information, pictures, videos, etc. are available.
