What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do keep a low overhead. So, based on competitive standards depending on the technical knowledge and research needed I can usually arrive at a reasonably low price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I write up a standard invoice involving the symptoms of how is the computer behaving with an evaluation of what needs to be done. For web sites, I have a questionnaire to cover most aspects to make it time efficient and complete for the data needed as well as the method involved.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an engineering degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing as well as A+ Certification in Computer Repair. I have Training along with my experience with HP Printer Repair.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in High School playing around with computers and then going to computer clubs.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types; I have many years experience.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If your looking for a quick fix get a Johnny Come Lately. If you have a deep complicated problem get a patient experienced Technician.
