We had hired a day-of coordinator who fell gravely ill and was put on immediate bed rest. Thankfully she's fine now, but with mere weeks to go before the big day (and a destination wedding, no less), we were in crisis mode. Cue Sunshine Weddings, LLC. From beginning to end, Bill and Karen were exceptional. Bill took the logistical reins, patiently answered all of my questions, thoroughly handled the details of the scheduling/contractual/vendor process along with every single curve ball thrown our way (including a category 4 hurricane that severed all means of long distance communication less than 10 days before our nuptials) with a cool, calm head. With such sturdy captains at the helm, I had no alternative but to be a stress-free bride. This combination of words in the same sentence seems rather peculiar - it's even a little bit odd to write - but it is the honest truth. Bill and Karen surpassed our expectations. From decor execution and time management to tactfully handling cultural differences and gracefully putting out little "fires" (both seen and unseen) - I cannot praise them enough. I will be forever grateful to them for ensuring our day was nothing short of extraordinary. Thank you both so very, very much.

Wow! That's what Destiny clearly brings to a wedding! She does a 15 minute consultation AND a huge discount for Thumbtack clients (as of this review) which I really appreciate and makes the process that much better. We haven't started planning my wedding yet, but her site is clean and examples of her work are lovely! In comparison to other wedding planners I've researched this is not something I could do on my own! I vibed with her passion, responsiveness, artistry, professionalism, personality, and understanding for over the top-ness!

My husband and I had our wedding in Melbourne, Fla but live in Singapore. It was super difficult planning from so far away especially since I didn't know the area well. Once we found Pascale, she assumed more than just a florist role, she really became our florist/wedding planner. She asked all the right questions and helped us think through all the outstanding loose ends. It really made the last few weeks before the wedding so much more relaxed. On the day of the wedding, she worked with all our vendors and really helped me focus on enjoying every minute of this once in a lifetime occasion! Moreover, Pascale really listened to what I wanted, she worked with me to design the perfect table setting with beautiful flowers and candles exactly as I described. On the day of the wedding it was even more beautiful than I imagined and absolutely created the sophisticated, romantic vibe I was going for. Pascale was really a great partner, she made everything so easy and relaxed and I highly recommend working with her!!

Marie was so professional and so incredibly generous in this entire process for planning my wedding. I really appreciate the fact that she cared as if it was her own wedding. I also really loved her creativity and the fact that my wedding was based on a fashion show theme, she just took it and ran with it. I also was able to utilize some of the vendors that she knew and they gave me such great quality options and deals. She also had great surprises in the decorations at the reception which I loved and I just like the fact that she also became a friend. I would’ve never been able to plan such amazing perfect wedding without her she really made my dreams come true. Thank you Marie for everything God bless.

Anna created the perfect environment for my wedding! She made our aisle runner, bouquets, centerpieces, and the entire wedding decor! She came highly recommend from one of my friends!!! I was so impressed with everything and her pricing was very very reasonable. I am so pleased that she played such a big part of making my wedding looking so magical! (Also she was so energetic and her positive attitude help de-stress me during wedding planning)

Heather and her staff coordinated my wedding welcome dinner. We had a destination beach wedding and had only visited the area once before. Living 1900 miles away….all of our correspondence was via email, text and calls. She even offered to facetime. We wanted to do a welcome dinner for all of our 85 guests that were coming to the area as an extra thank you. We wanted mostly to highlight why we chose the area and Heather made it perfect. She used her knowledge and resources to prove that our destination was a true paradise! From suggestions, to working hand in hand with all staff and creating a menu with our caterer and us, to hiring bartenders and creating a custom bar, she handled every detail all while including us. We paid for this ourselves so we had a budget. She made sure that all of the food & even the drinks made it appear that we “went all out” when we really hadn’t! We had a 5 star event on a 3 star wallet. I cannot begin to tell you how many people talked more about that event than our actual reception (YIKES LOL). The thing I think that we loved the most is that she is fun! You never feel stressed. You never worry, you feel like you are truly being taken care of in a light hearted and trustworthy way! I felt like we had known her forever but never felt that she was unprofessional at any time, it was just flawlessly natural. Thumbtack is great but your search is over my friend! You have found your event planner at its finest. Have a blast because Heather won’t allow you not too. She is worth every red cent😊

Nicole and the rest of the Terry family are absolutely incredible to work with. My only issue was that I did not find Nicole earlier! Nicole provided EVERYTHING necessary to pull off our wedding and I owe the perfect day to her and all of the hard work she and her wonderful family put into it. If possible I would love to work with her again. Thank you Nicole, and thanks to your family for making our wedding even better than we could have ever imagined.

Desiree was absolutely amazing! I was planning my wedding from out of state and don’t know what I would have done without Desiree! Desiree was in constant contact with me throughout the entire planning process, she offered her ideas and opinions like a friend, she handled communication with my vendors and thought of many details that I overlooked or didn’t even think of. The weeks leading up to the wedding were so hectic for me and Desiree was the one who kept everything organized, and made sure every single detail was perfectly aligned with my vision for our wedding day. Desiree worked tirelessly the day before and the day of, even noticing that I forgot to bring certain items and running out to purchase them rather than adding stress to my day. I am happy to recommend Anna Smith. She did a wonderful job for my sons weeding in fact she went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect the day of the wedding. She was the first to arrive and stayed until the very end to make sure all the arrangements were perfect. Her attention to detail, her knowledge and expertise are like to no other. During the consulting stage she spent time with the groom and bride to make sure she understood their requirements and she then exceeded in providing exactly as they wished. She decorated the church, the banquet room, the wedding cake, and the bouquets. If you have a special event and want to see nice results Anna is the person that will make it happen (Weddings, Showers, Retirements, Prom)

I cannot say enough wonderful things about A Friend Affair Event Planning. My fiance and I got engaged September 2013, set our wedding date on Christmas Eve (when I found my dream venue), and hired A Friend Affair a few shorts weeks later for our April 2014 wedding. We had three short months to plan our wedding and couldn't have pulled it off without A Friend Affair. I wouldn't have been able to sit back and enjoy the day if I didn't have Hannah as my wedding planner. Our day was absolutely perfect and felt like a dream thanks to her. She is incredibly professional, talented, creative, super sweet, attentive, organized, and took care of every little detail I would have never even thought to do. I could go on and on about how amazing she is! I don't know what I would have done without all of her help. She is THE BEST and I'm so thankful we hired her.

    I hired Mimi & Val Events to plan my Wedidng and provide all decor. I was blown away by their service. Myriam, the planner and Decor Coordinator asked what my vision was, and over-delivered. She was with me step by step, helping me get everything off my to-do list knocked off. She also finished all decor a month before my wedding! She works hard at her craft, and ensures you get nothing but the best! She is not cheap!! She got me the most beautiful faux silk flowers and more. I really did feel like royalty at the end of my wedding. I am so glad I chose to go with this vendor. My wedding day was pure bliss and I have zero complaints!

      I never dreamed of having a big wedding. I wanted to elope, but I married into a traditional family who insisted we have a wedding. So, I started planning a small (around 100 people) wedding by myself living 13 hours away from my family and closest friends. After booking most of my vendors I realized I was over my head and had no idea how the day of my wedding would be able to work out since I couldn't get ready and make the venue was ready at the same time. I needed help! We hired Alicia about 4 months before our wedding. She was amazing and helped us save money on various things like programs, decorations, and she helped us negotiate with our location vendor even though we hired her after we booked them. Alicia made our day truly magical. She kept everything on track leading up to our big day and the day of and made sure we were comfortable and having fun the whole time. Our wedding day was everything we never knew we wanted and more because of her. In fact our venue didn't have enough servers present to accommodate our guests, and I had no idea until after our wedding was said and done because she stepped in and ran the kitchen and tended to our guests. I highly recommend Aylesworth Events for anything from birthdays to weddings. They are highly professional, organized and efficient.
