FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
From an early age I have always had an interest in hypnosis and the power of the human mind to effect dramatic and instant changes in peoples lives. As my career evolved my desire to help people led me into a career in counseling. Specifically I helped people with the issues of Anger Management, Substance Abuse, & Parenting. Having already become fairly comfortable with hypnosis, I decided it was time to invest the time and effort to becoming a certified hypnotist. Afterwards, I spent the next several years helping people using hypnosis & hypnotherapy as a primary modality.

- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Obviously the experience and certifications are a must, but the most important ingredient in choosing a hypnotherapist is rapport. Regardless of the association and credentials unless there is good rapport between you and the therapist the therapy simply will not work. Keep looking until you find someone you feel completely comfortable with and in whom you feel you can place your trust. So a reputable hypnotherapist will provide you with an initial consultation free of charge and with no obligations so you can ask questions and check for this essential ingredient of rapport. A reputable hypnotherapist will provide you with written information explaining the therapies provided and also providing information about their own training, qualifications, expertise and the organizations and registers they belong to. This information would be in printed form or provided on the therapist's website.
