Introduction: Ryukyu (Okinawa) weapons training and its relationship to empty-hand technique is the focus of our education for life preservation.
Historically, after the disbanding of the warrior class in Okinawa (1879), martial arts was tailored for sport rather than for life preservation and military purposes.
Our purpose is to prepare and develop practitioners of good character and skill through the study of Ryukodo.
Both private and group lessons are available.

I have been training in the martial arts for many years and I highly recommend Ferguson Sensei to anyone who is serious about learning techniques that are highly effective fun to learn. He is very patient and able to instruct in a way that a student can comprehend and understand what is taught.
