FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I found a had a knack for playing music. I am very lucky to have found my passion at an early age. When I was in high school I auditioned for a music scholarship at Troy University and I got it. I studied music in college and I was lucky enough to acquire a position with an Orchestra.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be to please be patient. Learning a musical instrument is not an overnight process. Patience and perseverance are the keys to learning anything, but especially a musical instrument.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Music can be very fun, but it is a career for some of us. I am often asked to perform at weddings, birthdays, or other events for free. I don't expect to be paid the same as a doctor, but compensation should be assumed for anyone providing a quality service.
