Michelle did an excellent job with our move-out cleaning. We couldn't believe that she covered as much as she actually did. From window cleaning, carpet cleaning, oven and microwave cleaning, tile cleaning and she made the bathrooms look brand new. Amazing job for a great price. I would highly recommend you choose Michelle for your move-out cleaning project!

I am so glad I took a chance on Thumbtack and found Valerie. I wanted to surprise my wife with a clean home when she returned home. She's been a away for a while. Valerie and her husband came in a went straight to work. They did some really detail cleaning, including the oven and the fridge. Wifey came home as they were finishing up and LOVED the work they did. She finally agreed to let someone help keep the house clean. Just as long as it was Valerie and her Tender Deep Cleaning Service Men, if you want to surprise your significant other with a clean house, give Valerie a call.

The job was cleaning of a town home that was left vacant for 4 years and the owner had 3 cats. The sink had still unwashed dishes (owner left it when she left). The tile downstairs were in very bad shape. You can hardly see the grout. The bathtubs had stains and calcium buildup that cover almost all of the tub. Other than the kitchen sink, all other sinks (3 and vanities) were removed prior to cleaning. This town home has not been cleaned over 20 years. Sheila and her team came right on time and got to work and did not stop until the tasks were completed. They did not even took a break. All of them were professional and knew what they were doing. Sheila did a lot of work herself. It took about 1.5 days to clean the town home. I was amazed at the results of the cleaning. The bath tubs were cleaned and looks like they are brand new. The kitchen cabinets and the refrigerator were cleaned spotless. If there was a higher rating then "outstanding" they deserve it. I had dealings with other cleaners and was disappointed every time. I would not use anyone else when I need cleaning and recommend Busy Bee Cleaning to anyone that needs deep or regular cleaning. Thank you Sheila (and her team).

I hired Ellen recently and was very happy with her work. She was punctual and made sure that every room was clean, and even cleaned the stove and oven because our oven didn't have the cleaning feature. I will definitely be hiring her again in a few weeks!

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Didn’t take advantage in charging us an arm and a leg come to find out our oven could not be fixed and needs replacing.

These ladies did an awesome job! They showed up on time and they provided the best value for their great service. I was moving out of my 2 bed apartment and called them up for a move out cleaning. The place was spotless, all windows, fridge, stove oven, blinds were thoroughly cleaned - I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but I was impressed by their amazing job. I’d highly recommend them to anyone!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was very flexible to work with my schedule. Was on time and went to work immediately. I was blown away by how knowledgable and quick he was. He replaced the element in my oven but it was more difficult than just changing them out because my wires fell behind the back oven wall. Did not stop him at all and he also did not charge me extra. Was also very impressed at how friendly and kind he was. But absolutely will hire again and refer to all of my family and friends!

I hired a move out service that needed a smaller amount, but I loved it, came one person but was helpful, left my bathroom very clean, perfect kitchen, managed to get all the fat I had in my oven. The person did not speak English, but with the translator we communicated normally and this did not disturb anything. Congratulations, I loved it.

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much do you pay for house cleaning?

Hiring a professional house cleaning service is a helpful way to have a healthy home even when your work and personal schedule is packed. House cleaning prices vary based on how many square feet your home is, how dirty your house gets, and how often the cleaning service comes. Some companies charge a set amount — such as 5 cents — per square foot, with a minimum amount, such as $100. The national average cost for house cleaning ranges between $110 and $150. Prices can be lower in areas with a lower cost of living, higher in big cities or affluent regions. You may save money by increasing the frequency of your house cleaning visits. Often a company will charge you less per cleaning when you schedule more cleanings per month. The cost advantage rewards your loyalty, and also reflects the fact that more frequent cleanings make it easier to maintain a high level of cleanliness in your home. A housecleaning service may charge more for the first visit or for one-time services than for recurring cleanings.

How much does refrigerator repair cost?

Refrigerator repair generally costs a fraction of the price of a new fridge and shouldhave your appliance up and running again in no time. The problems your refrigerator is experiencing and the parts required to fix it will affect your repair costs. Where you live can affect labor rates, which will raise or lower your costs. Here are some examples of average costs:

    • Diagnostic fees: $50-$100. Repair pros often have a service call fee or diagnostic fee to account for their time traveling to your location with all their tools to assess the problem. If you choose to have them repair the fridge, most pros then credit this fee toward your repair cost.
    • Parts: $20-$500. A new compressor averages $200, an icemaker $300, and computerized components such as touch screens and control boards average $300 or more.
    • Basic repairs: $180-$400, including parts. This price range can include repairing the evaporator or fan motor.

How much does it cost to deep clean a house?

Deep cleaning a house goes beyond the surface level to clear out the dust, grime and gunk that’s collecting on the fan blades, hiding in the blinds, and built up inside the refrigerator drawers. Deep cleaning of a home or apartment costs more than regular house cleaning because it takes more time, effort, and cleaning products. You may choose to have a deep cleaning once or several times a year in addition to your standard cleaning services. You may have a one-time deep cleaning to prepare for company or to clean after a house party. Companies may charge an hourly rate or a price per square foot, or may offer you a flat rate after they have visited your home and estimated work time. The national average house cleaning price is $110-$150, with rates ranging higher for deep-cleaning services. Here are some examples of how a company may calculate their deep-cleaning prices:

    • 10 cents per square foot (compared with 5 cents per square foot for standard house cleaning).
    • $300 for a 3,000-square-foot home.
    • $25 per hour per worker for deep-cleaning services.

    How long do fridges last?

Refrigerators can last 10 to 20 years, although the most common lifespan is about 13 years. If your fridge is acting up, consider its current age when deciding whether to invest in repairs or buy a new one. Common easy fixes include faulty thermostats, dirty coils and clogged drain lines. Thermostats and dirty coils can be generally be fixed for an average cost of $80-$100. Clogged drain lines, which usually cause leaks, can often be fixed for under $200.

More complex refrigeration repairs such as replacing a bad compressor or replenishing low refrigerant can cost more because of expensive parts and higher labor. A new compressor costs an average of $200, not including labor. If labor is an average of $75-$100 per hour, and the repair takes 3 hours, you’re looking at roughly $500. Consider the age and purchase cost of your fridge; investing $350 in a $600 fridge that is 8 years old may not be cost-effective.

How much does a move-out cleaning cost?

Moving is hard enough work even before you have to clean the empty home to perfection. Instead of scrubbing your tile grout with a toothbrush, hire a professional cleaning company to provide move-out cleaning services for you. For moving out of an apartment, cleaning prices can range from $110 to $150. When scheduling a move-out cleaning, talk with the pro and confirm all the key points they will clean to ensure you receive your deposit back.

Important areas to have cleaned include the fridge interior, the oven interior, bathroom tile, the shower and tub, all blinds, and sometimes the walls. Some cleaning companies do not quote a flat rate for a move-out cleaning, as the number of hours it may take to clean structurally identical apartments could vary greatly depending on how clean or dirty the inhabitants were. For example, move-out house cleaning prices may range from $150 to $180 for one- or two-bedroom apartments.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
