FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every assignment is unique. I tailor the prices for my services according to my client's needs and budget. Prices can be largely determined on the basis of time and expenses. However, every job calls for particular finished work such as prints, albums, and finished videos. I provide reliable prices in response to Thumbtack requests.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every customer and every assignment is unique. Every customer has individual tastes and expectations. My first concern is to determine what my client wants. A wedding photographs in a keepsake album? Images that can be distributed over social media on the wedding day? An outdoor family portrait that conveys the love they share? Commercial photographs or video of a product line or an architectural project? We handle all of these, and we have examples of all of these either on the website or that can be provided on request.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training started in my teens working as an assistant to well-known photojournalists in Washington, D.C. I studied at the University of Missouri's photojournalism workshops led by editors from The New York Times and the National Geographic, which subsequently awarded me an assignment to photograph in Ireland. I was named Photographer of the Year at the Southern Short Course in Photography for my editorial and advertising photography. I have taught at UCLA, Full Sail, and Crealde School of Art in Winter Park.
